Tarde de caballeros y corte de cabello [Esp - Eng]

La tarde de este viernes hice una salida improvisada e inesperada con mis hijos, dado que ya tenían el cabello muy largo y durante sus jornadas de clases, sudan de manera cuantiosa. Esto les sucede tanto en la escuela, como en casa y cuando salimos a jugar al fútbol, lo que se traduce en que llegan prácticamente empapados; como ya han podido notar, mis chamos están algo gorditos, dado que les gusta comer de todo jajaja.

This Friday afternoon I made an impromptu and unexpected outing with my children, since they already had very long hair and during their school days, they sweat a lot. This happens at school, at home and when we go out to play soccer, which means that they arrive practically soaked; as you may have noticed, my kids are a little chubby, since they like to eat everything hahaha.

En realidad fue una salida inesperada, ya que no tenía planificado llevarlos (habían llegado tarde de la escuela); pero mi esposa me dijo que las maestras le habían comentado que ya tenían largo el cabello, entonces se formó la discusión porque el mayor no quería que le tocaran el pelo (casi siempre se rehúsa), mientras que el menor adora a nuestra amiga Yusmeris, porque se los corta rápido, bien delineado y al final, les regala un caramelo jajaja.

Actually it was an unexpected outing, since I had not planned to take them (they had arrived late from school); but my wife told me that the teachers had told her that they already had long hair, then the discussion was formed because the older one did not want them to touch his hair (he almost always refuses), while the younger one loves our friend Yusmeris, because she cuts them quickly, well delineated and at the end, she gives them a candy hahaha.

La señora Yusmeris ya los conoce muy bien, dado que les corta el cabello desde hace algunos años. En esta oportunidad, fue toda una odisea alistarlos, ellos discutían entre sí, Keny David me pedía que no lo llevara, pero yo tenía que aprovechar para hacer un solo viaje, así que lo llevé a regañadientes jajaja. Al llegar fue otro drama, el chamo no quería ceder y alegaba que tenía su cabello muy corto todavía; luego de unos minutos de discusión, no le quedó de otra que sentarse en la silla, para que nuestra amiga hiciera su trabajo.

Mrs. Yusmeris already knows them very well, since she has been cutting their hair for some years. This time, it was a real odyssey to get them ready, they were arguing with each other, Keny David asked me not to take him, but I had to take advantage of a single trip, so I took him reluctantly hahaha. When we arrived there was another drama, the boy did not want to give in and claimed that his hair was still too short; after a few minutes of discussion, he had no choice but to sit in the chair, so that our friend could do her job.

Llegó el turno del gordito y nuestra amiga no pudo evitar decirme, sobre la diferencia en el carácter de mis hijos; dado que Daniel Jesús es todo risas y muy obediente a las indicaciones de ella. Los presentes se reían con sus ocurrencias, pidiendo el corte de cabello de personajes de comics (Gokú y Naruto) jajaja. Ella aprovecha de conversar con él y cuando le pide quedarse quieto, inmediatamente se queda inmóvil para que ella use la hojilla. Cuando les dio el caramelo, ya el mayor estaba tranquilo.

It was the turn of the chubby boy and our friend could not help but tell me about the difference in the character of my children, since Daniel Jesus is all laughs and very obedient to her indications. Those present laughed with his witticisms, asking for the haircut of comic book characters (Goku and Naruto) hahaha. She took the opportunity to talk to him and when he asked him to stand still, he immediately stayed still for her to use the blade. When she gave them the candy, the older one was already calm.

Acto seguido entramos a un súper mercado y ellos comenzaron a pedir de todo jajaja; además que ya estaban corriendo por los pasillos, divirtiéndose como solo ellos saben. Sentí alivio al ver que mi hijo mayor, ya había dejado atrás su molestia por cortarse el cabello. Compramos algunas cosas y luego nos fuimos a casa; aunque llegamos con el ocaso, estábamos satisfechos por haber cumplido el objetivo y después de una ducha refrescante, nos sentamos a mirar comiquitas, con taza de cotufas en mano.

Then we entered a super market and they started asking for everything hahaha; besides they were already running through the aisles, having fun as only they know how. I was relieved to see that my oldest son had already left behind his annoyance for cutting his hair. We bought a few things and then we went home; although we arrived at sunset, we were satisfied for having accomplished our goal and after a refreshing shower, we sat down to watch cartoons, with a cup of popcorn in hand.

Antes de irnos a la cama, mi hijo grande (así le digo), me pidió disculpas por haberse portado mal durante su corte de cabello; le dije que no se preocupara tanto por eso, que era algo necesario y que él no tiene por que molestarse, ya que su cabello volverá a crecer pronto. No obstante, le recordé que debe ser obediente de las indicaciones de sus padres, debe dar el ejemplo a su hermanito menor y darse cuenta que, cuando esté más grande, será el hombre de la casa. Me gustó que él reconociera su error, aunque a posteriori jajaja.

Before going to bed, my big son (that's what I call him), apologized to me for misbehaving during his haircut; I told him not to worry so much about it, that it was something necessary and that he doesn't have to be upset, since his hair will grow back soon. However, I reminded him that he should be obedient to his parents' instructions, he should set an example for his little brother and realize that when he is older, he will be the man of the house. I liked that he recognized his mistake, albeit in hindsight hahaha.

Como siempre hacemos, antes de dormir hicimos un breve recuento de lo sucedido durante el día, primero comienza Daniel y le sigue Keny David; para al final, hacer de mi parte algunas observaciones. Mi intención es hacerles ver, los aspectos donde podemos mejorar; siempre enmarcados en el apoyo mutuo como equipo. Soy un padre que ama a sus hijos y que procura dejar una enseñanza de cada experiencia juntos.

As we always do, before going to sleep we made a brief account of what happened during the day, first Daniel begins and Keny David follows; and at the end, I will make some observations on my part. My intention is to make them see the aspects where we can improve; always framed in mutual support as a team. I am a father who loves his children and who tries to leave a lesson from each experience together.
