With great pleasure and motivated by the contest of this outstanding community @cinetv, I will share with you my opinion about the use of a song in a movie. In my little experience as a film buff, I consider of great importance the selection of the musical piece, which should complement the main objective of the film, as it is to entertain the viewer and place it in the context of what the director wants to convey with his film work. This aspect has evolved a lot over time, just as everything has advanced, cinema is always at the forefront.

Con mucho gusto y motivado al concurso de esta destacada comunidad @cinetv, compartiré con ustedes mi opinión sobre el uso de una canción, en una película. En mi poca experiencia como aficionado al cine, considero de gran importancia la selección de la pieza musical, que debe complementar el objetivo principal de la cinta, como lo es entretener al espectador y colocarlo en el contexto de lo que el director quiere transmitir con su trabajo filmográfico. Este aspecto ha evolucionado mucho con el tiempo, así como todo ha avanzado, el cine siempre va a la vanguardia.

This kind of natural synergy has gone hand in hand and has been perfected. It is about capturing all the senses of the people who consume these cinematographic and musical products. However, among so many good works and remembered combinations, there is one that has a special touch.
Muchas han sido las películas que se hicieron famosas con el envolvente ritmo de un tema musical, más allá de los efectos de sonido en las escenas más importantes de la cinta; Y a su vez hay películas que ayudaron a algún disco, a salir del anonimato. Esta especie de sinergia natural, ha ido de la mano y se ha perfeccionado. Se trata de captar todos los sentidos de las personas que consumen estos productos cinematográficos y musicales. Sin embargo, entre tantos buenos trabajos y combinaciones recordadas, hay una que tiene un toque especial.
First of all, for having set a milestone in films on the theme of teenage intrigue, with a background plot that enveloped the minds and wet thoughts of the young people of the golden decade of cinema, the 90's. I am referring to the well-remembered film "Cruel Intentions", in which a group of boys from an upper class school do things that many of us have at least imagined; but they go beyond; they get into the subject of drugs and manipulate each other, giving it a critical and different touch.
En primer lugar, por haber marcado un hito en las películas sobre el tema de la intriga adolescente, con una trama de fondo que envolvió la mente y pensamientos húmedos, de los jóvenes de la década dorada del cine, la década de los 90. Me refiero a la recordada cinta “Cruel Intentions”, en la que aquel grupo de muchachos de un colegio de clase alta, hace las cosas que muchos hemos al menos imaginado; pero ellos van más allá; ellos se meten con el tema de las drogas y se manipulan unos a otros, dándole un toque crítico y distinto.
The irreverent style, the daring girls and the superficial approach to irresponsible sex make the film a bittersweet melody hahaha. The young Sebastian has lived so many experiences that he wants to take on a challenge according to his expectations and he gets the bet of his cousin, beautiful but addicted to drugs; Sebastian in his eagerness to get his new trophy, suffers a head-on collision with love, personified in Annette. The guy unwittingly begins to change his cold manipulation and falls in love; this situation is described in the song selected as soundtrack "Bitter Sweet Symphony".
El estilo irreverente, las chicas atrevidas y el abordaje superficial del sexo irresponsable; hacen de la cinta toda una melodía agridulce jajaja. El joven Sebastian ha vivido tantas experiencias que quiere asumir un reto acorde a sus expectativas y se consigue con la apuesta de su prima, bella pero adicta a las drogas; Sebastian en su afán de conseguir su nuevo trofeo, sufre un choque frontal con el amor, personificado en Annette. El tipo sin darse cuenta comienza a cambiar su fría manipulación y se enamora; esta situación es descrita en la canción seleccionada como banda sonora “Bitter Sweet Symphony”.

This song "adapted" from the group The Verve, was a resounding success, becoming a classic for the time. The British group won several awards for this song, included in their third album Urban Hymns; such as the Brit Awards in 1998 for best album and the Blockbuster Entertainment Award in 2000, for best soundtrack of the aforementioned film production. This song marked an era and a whole generation; even when we listen to it today, we appreciate its artistic value and remember that film Cruel Intentions.

Esta canción "adaptada" del grupo The Verve, fue un éxito rotundo, convirtiéndose en clásico para la época. El grupo británico obtuvo varios premios por este tema, incluido en su tercer álbum Urban Hymns; tales como el Brit Awards del año 1998 al mejor disco y el Blockbuster Entertaiment Award del año 2000, como mejor banda sonora de la mencionada producción cinematográfica. Excelente propuesta. Los soundtrack sin duda alguna son parte esencial de una película. Pueden generar diferentes atmósferas y The Verve da la estocada para un final muy satisfactorio de ver. Esa venganza fue espectacular. También puedo mencionar la canción Color Blind, que suena cuando está pierde su virginidad. Es preciosa. Te mando un fuerte abrazo y saludos.

Coincidimos en canción, es muy buena tanto la película como la música, no conozco más material de the verve, o tal vez he escuchado pero no me queda tan grabado como bitter sweet symphony.
Fue la oda de esta banda, el tema que se convirtieron en clásico, a pesar de haber sido algo adaptado de los Rolling Stones.
La Peli ni hablar, con sus personajes inolvidables.
