HIVE OPEN MIC #111 | THIS LITTLE TOWN
βΆοΈ Watch on 3Speak
π΅ Music Lovers of Hive Open Mic community! π
Hello Music Lovers on Hive, this is my entry for Hive Open Mic week 111. I'm sorry it is coming so late, but I'm here π₯°
Happy Sunday to you all π₯°
For this week we shall be playing the song "This Little Town" composed by by Dr. Ebingo Kigigha @ebingo
This song is borne out of dr @ebingo reflection on the incident and event that happened in the Northern part of Nigeria, where the security of citizens aren't guaranteed.
For this presentation, I used the wonderful backing track made by our wonderful admin @cabelindsay in his entry on this little town
I looped it to form my backing track in order to rhyme with the 120bpm, Key G and chord progression specification.
The Sax I used is owned by @simeonvincent my good friend π
I hope you enjoy this piece
LYRICS OF THIS SMALL TOWN π‘
I canβt keep holding on
To this small town
Iβve got to keep moving on
Before it all falls down
Once again, I can't forget to appreciate the wonderful Admins and moderators of this wonderful community for creating and managing this great platform. For hosting this weekly event and making sure it is always successful.
I also appreciate all my friends on Hive and musical friends on Hive. It is nice knowing you all and being friends with you all. I'm grateful for your wonderful comments on my post always.

Although late, you came and did your part, my friend thank you very much for having participated in week 111 and we wait for you this week with the new theme already published Β‘Greetings πππ!
Thank you so much
It was nearly impossible for me to participate. It was as though all forces wanted to prevent me from participating π π π
From electricity to instrument and to time. That was why I had to get an instrument that doesn't require electricity. However, I still got stuck with editing the video because it requires I use my Laptop (electricity problem again) π π
After I surmounted that challenge, 3speaks also delayed the video also π π π
Wow bro, it was a lot of unexpected events, but the good thing is that you somehow brought your presentation, good for it πππ

Brother, you're almost ready to make a record!!! Hey, 3 sax? This is great!!!, although it needs a tenor, but it's excellent!!!. A big hug my brother, God bless you!
Hahaha
Yea yea
It does need a tenor.
Thank you so much brother

Great accompaniment with the sax. It will be a great complement for the final assemble. Blessings!
Wow
Thank you so much
I'm grateful for your comment
I hope it gets featured in the final compilation since my entry came late ππ
Is it difficult to play that kind of instrument? Wow, very talented. ππ
Thank you so much
Youre welcome bro.π
Sorry bro
I didn't take notice of the question mark
The Saxophone isn't really difficult unlike the piano or guitar... I believe it is easier than those two instruments.
I play all, so I'm speaking based on my experience
Wow you are very talented bro. ππ
Woww
