Color and Graphite Portrait [ENG/ESP]

Welcome to my new post, today I want to share with you a cartoon style portrait of a female character, where I combine graphite and color in the hair area applying various tones in each of the locks, this was a character I did to practice a different style of drawing.

In the elaboration of this drawing I used a mechanical pencil, pencil HB, 4B to make the face of the character and in the hair I used the colored pencils, making locks of each color.

Bienvenidos a mi nuevo post, el día de hoy les quiero compartir un retrato al estilo cartoon de un personaje femenino, a donde combino el grafito y el color en la zona del cabello aplicando varios tonos en cada uno de los mechones, este fue un personaje lo hice para ir practicando un estilo de dibujo distinto.

En la elaboración de este dibujo utilice un portaminas, lápiz HB, 4B para hacer el rostro del personaje y en el cabello utilice los lápices de colores, haciendo mechones de cada colores.

• I started making the sketch of the character using the mechanical pencil, using the loomis method to guide me of the proportions of the face, making the eyes bigger than normal.

• Comencé realizando el boceto del personaje utilizando el portaminas, utilizando el método loomis para ir guiándome de las proporciones del rostro, haciendo los ojos mas grande de lo normal.

• Having the location of each element, I erased the guide lines of the face and then I applied the graphite and created volume in the face with the mechanical pencil, HB and 4B pencils.

• Teniendo la ubicación de cada elemento, fui borrando las líneas guías de la cara para luego ir aplicando el grafito e ir creando volumen en el rostro con el portaminas, lápiz HB y 4B.

• Finally I continued with the hair, in which I used 6 colors to make the locks of hair with different colors applying a different method and I really liked the hair.

• Por ultimo seguí con el cabello, en la cual utilice 6 colores para hacer los mechones de cabello con colores distintos aplicando un método distinto y me gusto mucho el cabello.
