Color and Graphite Portrait [ENG/ESP]

Hello everyone, today I am going to show you a drawing of a portrait that combines graphite and color with a line that divides it, this would be my second drawing of this style, what I like about this type of drawing is that you can combine both methods and be able to practice both coloring and graphite.

In the realization of this drawing I used a mechanical pencil, pencil 2B, 4B, 8B, brush and colored pencils.

Hola a todos, el día de hoy les voy a mostrar un dibujo de un retrato que combina el grafito y el color con una linea que lo divide, este seria mi segundo dibujo de este estilo, lo que me gusta de este tipo de dibujo es que puede combinar ambos métodos y poder practicar tanto el coloreado y el grafito.

En la realización de este dibujo utilice un portaminas, lápiz 2B, 4B, 8B, pincel y lapices de colores.

• I began by making the sketch of the portrait, I liked this pose because of the angle that represents the face and I did it little by little with certain reference guides applying the loomis method making all these strokes with the mechanical pencil.

• Comencé realizando el boceto del retrato, esta pose me gusto por el angulo que representa el rostro y lo fui realizando poco a poco con ciertas guías de referencias aplicando el método loomis haciendo todo estos trazos con el portaminas.

• Once I made the line that divides the face, I wanted to start with the color area applying the combination of the colors blue, red to make the skin, the eye I applied the brown color, adding details with the mechanical pencil and in the hair I used the orange color and another one a little bit darker.

• Una vez hice la linea que divide el rostro, quise empezar por la zona de color aplicando la combinación de los colores azul, rojo para hacer la piel, el ojo aplique el color marrón, agregándole detalles con el portaminas y en el cabello utilice el color anaranjado y otro un poquito mas oscuro.

• Having finished the color area I continued with the graphite, starting with the hair using the mechanical pencil and the pencil 2B together with the brush to blur, then I continued with the face using the mechanical pencil, 2B and 4B and finally I made the clothes using all the graphite materials.

• Teniendo terminado la zona del color seguí con el grafito, empezando por el cabello utilizando el portaminas y el lápiz 2B en conjunto con el pincel para difuminar, después seguí con el rostro utilizando el portaminas, 2B y 4B y por ultimo le hice la ropa utilizando todos los materiales de grafitos.
