DAY 7 - EXHIBITION

Hi guys, how are you doing today.
Today was an eventful one for me. After I got back from church, I decided to go for an exhibition with a friend of mine @ajayishogo at Rele Art Gallery located in Nigeria, It was really fun, met a lot of new creatives like me and also friends from school, I was able to interact with the exhibiting Artist as well as read their bio and artist statements, also the story or idea being the works they created which was being exhibited.

One of the major things I loved about the exhibition was the the setup, the way it was presented, each artist section or stand has a dedicated design or wall paint that enhances the presentation of the works, both visually and the message the artist are trying to pass.

The works exhibited includes; Painting, mix media, photography, sculptural pieces and textile works. I didn't really get to take a picture of all the exhbited works buy the ones I did take I'll be right under this write up.

Finally, one of things that also caught my attention aside from the beautiful works of art and the gallery setup was the audiences outfit. The exhibition had a lot of people coming today maybe because it was the opening day so I was able to see different people with different outfits and sadly I couldn't take any picture also cos I was too shy to ask and they might not be interested so I just sticked to admiring from afar😅

Anyway, it was a really good experience for me and it is the first exhibition I'll be attending this year. Also I couldn't draw anything today cause I spent most of the day at the exhibition and by the time I got home oga nepa decided to show who's boss and take the light.. plus my phone is currently low🥲 so I'm really typing this fast so I can share it before it goes off.
Hopefully by tomorrow I'll be able to create more than one drawing and share In place of the one I missed today 😊.
