Today, I'll be sharing with you all a song cover I created for a client

I really enjoyed working on the background of the art, it gave me some kind of ease.

Note: This is an original character created from scratch by me without any references.

Step 1: I created a quick rough sketch of how I wanted my character to be positioned with no specific details at all by using a stick man figure guide after I have created a quick line art of the background.

Step 2: on this stage I created my neat line Art using the previous stage which is the step 1. On this stage, I added and also removed some details from it that I do not want. This stage is am important one cos it will decide how you paint your art.

Step 3: I coloured in the girl in the art

Step 4: Here I coloured in the guy in the portrait and also added a shadow cast to his feet in other not to make him look like he's floating.

Step 5: on this stage I created the mood of the artwork by adding the sky

Step 6: on this stage I coloured in the buildings and also made us of a gradient fill In other to give it some depth

Step 6: here I added some extra lighting to the art and also some glow effects on the walls of the buildings and also the window in which she's looking out and also some flowers around the buildings to add to the aesthetic of the art

Finally on this stage, I added the clouds in the sky and also some street wiring to added to the feel of the entire art piece
