Exquisite sautéed purple cabbage with potatoes and raisins / ENG-ESP

Good evening dear Hivers, I hope you had a great weekend.... This time, I will share with you a VERY healthy recipe, I will explain "step by step" how to prepare a delicious "sautéed purple cabbage with potatoes and raisins ". This dish is the ideal side dish to complement with: chicken, meat or fish. If you want to have a light and nutritious dinner, this could be an excellent option, you can accompany it with crackers or whole wheat bread... A real delicacy!

Buenas noches queridos Hivers, espero que hayan pasado un fin de semana genial... En ésta ocasión, compartiré con ustedes una receta MUY saludable, les explicaré "paso a paso" como preparar un exquisito "salteado de repollo morado con patatas y pasitas". Ésta plato es la guarnición ideal para complementar con: pollo, carnes o pescado. Si desean cenar de forma ligera y nutritiva, ésta podría ser una excelente opción, lo pueden acompañar con galletas o pan integral... Un auténtico manjar!

  • Cut the cabbage into "thin" strips and let it stand for 20 minutes in water with vinegar.
  • Cortamos el repollo en tiras "delgadas", lo dejamos reposar durante 20 minutos en agua con vinagre.

  • We sauté 1 "large" onion together with 6 cloves of garlic (finely chopped). On this occasion, I used 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of "salted" butter.
  • Sofreímos 1 cebolla "grande" junto con 6 dientes de ajo (finamente cortados). En ésta ocasión, utilicé 1 cucharada de aceite de oliva y 2 cucharadas de mantequilla "con sal".

  • When our ingredients have acquired a BEAUTIFUL hue, we add 4-5 scallions.
  • Cuando nuestros ingredientes hayan adquirido una HERMOSA tonalidad, agregamos 4-5 cebollines.

  • In this step, we incorporate the "cabbage" that we had reserved...
  • En éste paso, incorporamos el "repollo" que teníamos reservado...

  • Add 4 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar along with 1/4 cup of water. If during the cooking process you feel you need to add a touch MORE water, you can do so. The important thing is to avoid that the ingredients acquire a crunchy texture, they should be soft.
  • Añadimos 4 cucharadas de vinagre de manzana junto con 1/4 de taza de agua. Si durante el proceso de cocción consideran que necesitan añadir un toque MÁS de agua lo pueden hacer. Lo importante es evitar que los ingredientes adquieran una textura crujiente, deberán quedar suaves.

  • Place the potatoes, cut into "medium" cubes, add 1 teaspoon of sugar, mix until well integrated. Cover, cook until the potatoes are soft.
  • Colocamos las patatas, cortamos en cubos "medianos", agregamos 1 cucharadita de azúcar, mezclamos hasta integrar bien. Tapamos, cocinamos hasta que las patatas se ablanden.

  • This is the right consistency... We add our tasty "raisins", mix again. Friends, our healthy and nutritious dish is ready to enjoy!
