(ENG-ESP) I show you how to make a delicious sauce with meatballs

  • Good evening dear friends... Today, I share with you one of my mom's favorite recipes, I will explain how to prepare an "exquisite sauce with meatballs". You can use the type of pasta you prefer, in my case I have the habit of using spaghetti when the sauce is red and macaroni when I am going to prepare the carbonara sauce which is my favorite or any type of sauce with milk. I hope you enjoy the process and I encourage you to make this tasty recipe... Let's put on the apron!
  • Buenas noches queridos amigos... Hoy, comparto con ustedes una de las recetas favoritas de mi mamá, les explicaré como preparar una "exquisita salsa con albóndigas". Pueden utilizar el tipo de pasta que más deseen, en mi caso tengo la costumbre de utilizar espaguetis cuando la salsa es roja y macarrones cuando voy a preparar la salsa carbonara que es mi favorita o cualquier tipo de salsa que lleve leche. Espero que disfruten el proceso y se animen a realizar ésta sabrosa receta... Pongámonos el delantal!

  • INGREDIENTS: 250 gr ground beef, 2 ripe tomatoes, 1 onion, 3 crushed garlic cloves, fried tomato, pepper, oregano powder and salt to taste.
  • INGREDIENTES: 250 gr de carne molida, 2 tomates maduros, 1 cebolla, 3 dientes de ajo triturados, tomate frito, pimienta, orégano en polvo y sal al gusto.

  • Season the meat with pepper, oregano powder, mustard and salt to taste. Mix until well integrated. Whenever I prepare this recipe I always like to assemble the meatballs small... We moisten our hands a little, to prevent the meat from sticking to the skin, form the meatballs trying to have a similar size.
  • Aliñamos la carne con pimienta, orégano en polvo, mostaza y sal al gusto. Mezclamos hasta integrar bien. Siempre que preparo ésta receta me gusta armar las albóndigas pequeñas... Nos humedecemos un poco las manos, para así evitar que la carne se adhiera a la piel, formamos las albóndigas tratando de que tengan un tamaño similar.

  • I suggest NOT allowing the texture of the meatballs to get TOO crunchy, for this recipe it will only be necessary to brown on both sides, as they will finish cooking with the sauce.
  • Sofreímos a fuego "medio", les sugiero NO permitir que la textura de las albóndigas quede MUY crujiente, para ésta receta será necesario solamente dorar por ambos lados, ya que luego terminaran de cocinarse con la salsa.

  • That's how appetizing our meatballs turned out... We reserve to use in the final step.

  • Fry the onion with the garlic cloves (season with salt and pepper). When they have taken a crystalline texture add the tomatoes.
  • Sofreímos la cebolla junto con los dientes de ajo (salpimentamos. Cuando hayan tomado una textura cristalina añadimos los tomates.

  • In this step, place the meatballs that we had reserved, along with the fried tomato or tomato extract, add 1/2 cup of water. Cover and cook over medium-low heat for approximately 25 minutes or until it is ready.
  • En éste paso, colocamos las albóndigas que teníamos reservadas, junto con el tomate frito o extracto de tomate, añadimos 1/2 taza de agua. Tapamos y cocinamos a fuego "medio-bajo", aproximadamente durante 25 minutos o hasta comprobar que está lista.

  • Once the cooking time has elapsed, our sauce is ready. I usually cook the spaghetti while the sauce finishes cooking, so it will be ready in time to strain and plate.
  • Transcurrido el tiempo de cocción, nuestra salsa está lista. Suelo cocinar los espaguetis mientras termina de cocinarse la salsa, así estarán listos a tiempo para colar y emplatar.

  • Friends, here is a delicious option to enjoy with the family. If you wish to complement it with a garnish you can accompany it with a fresh salad, in my case I took advantage of the fact that I had ripe plantains and prepared them baked.
  • Amigos, a continuación les presento una deliciosa opción para disfrutar en familia. Si desean complementar con alguna guarnición pueden acompañar con una fresca ensalada, en mi caso aproveché que tenía plátanos maduros y los preparé horneados.

Kris... a mi me encantan las albondigas así, que se terminen de cocinar con la salsa. Agarran un gusto realmente muy sabroso.

Hola My Pink, te cuento que su textura quedó muy exquisita, porque quedaron super jugosas, antes sofreía bien y quedaban muy secas, poco a poco fue modificando la receta hasta que encontré la que más me gustó.
