Hi guys, Necrozark here again posting my battle challenge for this week for CHAOS KNIGHT. Just like from my previous post, I mentioned that I love using Life Splinters, and this challenge was very fun for me. However, I rarely use CHAOS KNIGHT in my life deck. For low mana games I usually use PELACOR CONJURER and SHIELDBEARER for high mana games, so I challenged myself on using CHAOS KNIGHT instead of my comfort tank monsters.

LORE

Chaos Knights are most often found at the front line of the Chaos Legion's invading forces, although they are sometimes enlisted to defend garrisons, leadership, and other high-value assets. They are heavily armored and wield massive battle axes that are able to cut down even the mightiest of foes.

STRATEGY

My game plan for this match is using double sneak combo and getting CHAOS KNIGHT as my main tank along with a support that will help him live longer. To be honest, I did not check the enemy match history and the rulesets are not in favor of using CHAOS KNIGHT. I took the risk and gambled that the enemy will not go for magic damage, and if he doesn't I am confident that this line up will win.

LINE UP

LORNA SHINE	SUMMONER	I chose LORNA SHINE as my summoner because of her ability Divine Shield that will increase CHAOS KNIGHT's survivability in case the enemy went for magic damage.
CHAOS KNIGHT	1	My main tank and the main character for this line up is CHAOS KNIGHT. I placed him in the first position because of his Shield ability, which made him excellent in tanking physical damage.
CREEPING OOZE	2	The secondary support CREEPING OOZE will make the enemy slower which might cause them to miss, and it will help CHAOS KNIGHT with chances of living longer. I put him in the second position in case CHAOS KNIGHT dies he can be the secondary tank and can be an expendable monster.
STITCH LEECH	3	My first sneak monster, that will help kill the enemy backline monsters. Both STICH LEECH and URAEUS are my main damage dealer.
SCAVO HIRELING	4	SCAVO HIRELING is my main support that will repair the armor of my monsters. Either in my first position or last position, it will greatly increase my chances of winning
URAEUS	5	Lastly, URAEUS in the last position because of his armor. Just in case the enemy went for sneak monsters his armor will help him survive longer and also it can be repaired by my SCAVO HIRELING.

THE BATTLE

My prediction came true, the enemy went for pure physical damage without magic damage, that made me confident with my line up. We both have the same level of summoner, thus this game is really equal. We also have Shield ability for our main tank and 2 additional monster for damage, the only difference is I have a support monster and he doesn't.

ROUND 1

At the first round, we traded damage. I went for his backline monster with my sneak monsters and for him it's frontal damage. My sneak monsters are at a disadvantage because he has high speed backline monster, that made my STITCH LEECH miss. And my support SCAVO HIRELING repaired my CHAOS KNIGHT armor that really helped him live longer.

ROUND 2 & 3

The first round and second round is very similar with repairs and miss shots, however in the third round the battle turned it's tide in my favor. I killed his last position monster that reduced his damage output, and especially the lucky miss from his CHAIN GOLEM that really put me in advantage.

ROUND 4

For the fourth round, I mostly killed his backline monsters which is his damage dealer monsters, thus making this game easier to win.

ROUND 5

The game ended and I killed all of his monters without losing any of mine, thanks to my support.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

The strategy worked, or rather my gamble paid off, he also went for full damage without getting any supports, while I have 2 excellent support ability which is DIVINE SHIELD from LORNA SHINE and Repair from SCAVO HIRELING that helped me win. Since I won the game without losing any monster, I am very satisfied with this line up and will not change anything.

Do you like the CHAOS KNIGHT? Why or why not?

I really like the Shield ability that CHAOS KNIGHT has, which made me like him. However his low hp makes him very vulnerable against magic damage, and it is better to use him with Lost Magic and Equalizer ruleset, because that will remove his weakness.
