Some new, some old!

Big commitment energy tonight because I was so close to just calling it a night. I decided to get out of bed, come downstairs and get a blog post on the blockchain. One day my son @guthrie will read all of these entries and realize what a hard working crypto earning his dad was, long before most of society knew what it was beyond Bitcoin. Also, this kind of productivity keeps me right mentally and emotionally. If I can look back on my day and know it was full, I can rest well for the few hours I’m asleep. Today was a good day.

Work is going well. The first photo from my shoot yesterday with Stevie is extremely well received, both on here and Instagram, where its almost hit 2,500 likes. I’ve felt a bit overwhelmed at @eos.detroit, but we just hired a Product Manager. My first time in a C-Suite position, I didn’t realize just how badly that position was needed. I’m starting to focus more on art again, which feels great. I was able to wind down this evening getting to a few photos I’ve been meaning to edit. One new, and one from 2017!

The first is from a shoot at Lovely Organic Apothecary’s dark pinup sessions, though it was at the owners home, not the studio. Our client for the evening was wonderful. We’d shot with her before last Fall at the first round of sessions for the boutique. The introductions weren’t necessary and she was already familiar with my unorthodox approach to photography. The lighting was on point, which I was concerned about originally. In the end, an outstanding shoot. This is just the first edit.

The last photo is from a shoot with Cindy, one of my best friends in the world and a diamond amongst the many people I’ve met during my time shooting in LA. We met and shot together in 2014 during my annual NOIR black and white photography event. We shot again the following year, but in 2017, we reconnected for this shoot. I love finding the gems that I overlooked the first time choosing what I want to edit. This was certainly one of them. Just something I wanted to do for fun tonight and I love it.

Those are some great shots. That is a really good point you made about the hard work that you are putting in here. I think a lot of people think that the whole cryptocurrency thing is just fast easy money and they don't realize all of the time and energy that goes on behind the scenes.

I'm glad you 'committed' to posting, because it means I get to see beautiful photos like these. Absolutely fantastic mood/vibe/composition. I'm glad you have a good rapport with your client, and awesome collab with Cindy. Props to all involved.
