Monomad challenge entry #158: Personal outtakes from Nengi's rebirth session.

One time in November, Nengi called me and says "Kode! I'd like to take pictures for my birthday" and I was shocked. I was shocked because a few months back, I had created photos for her birthday. Which other birthday could she be referring to? I asked her and she explained that it was the day she gave her life to Jesus Christ. She also celebrates that day as her birthday. Being a Christian too, I was happy about how seriously she took the event of being born again.

The idea she shared with me was about being reborn. It was a pretty daunting task for me because it wasn't exactly my kind of photography. It was more like a painterly portrait concept; something that I have not exactly delved into. Anyway, I put in the work, did some research, and executed the idea. It wasn't 100% but it was great.

This post isn't about those photos though. I was able to create some other photos for myself. For these ones, I was in my comfort zone. I was not under any pressure. And I created really amazing portraits. Those are the ones I'll be sharing today as my entry for the #monomad challenge.
