Peaceful day and pleasant views ✨ - At the Avila Mountain
A very photogenic dragonfly and a little scorpion. 🖤
I’ve never seen a small blue dragonfly like this before. I also found a pretty mantis and different kind of butterflies, but they were too fast for me 😅. Next time I’ll be prepared!
The scorpion is not rare to find, but this one landed on my friend clothes in the right moment. Luckily we saw it just before he put on the shirt, because they can be harmful.
They view of the mountain when I climbed down was very nice too.
Place: Avila Mountain in Caracas/Venezuela.
El fin de semana pasado volví a ir a la montaña, ese día encontré varios insectos geniales, pero solo pude tomar fotos de dos de ellos cerca de una cascada.
Una libélula muy fotogénica y un pequeño escorpión. 🖤
Nunca antes había visto una pequeña libélula azul como esta. También encontré una bonita mantis y diferentes tipos de mariposas, pero eran demasiado rápidas para mí 😅. ¡La próxima vez estaré preparada!
El escorpión no es raro de encontrar, pero este aterrizó en la ropa de mi amigo en el momento adecuado. Por suerte lo vimos justo antes de que se pusiera la camiseta, porque pueden causar daño.
La vista de la montaña cuando bajé fue muy agradable también.

Little scorpion are really harmful a lot
Yes they can be! But after taking the photos I moved it to another part far away from us, so everything was ok!

Not at all. I placed it somewhere else without touching it. It wasn’t harming anyone so there was no problem.
But they can easily bite someone which is poisonous
It's normal to find these and other insects when you go to a mountain, so there's no point killing them. You just have to be careful. Greetings!

Muy buenas fotografías las que tomaste. La libélula parece un helicóptero jajaja. Me gustaría visitar Caracas y dar un paseo por el hermoso Ávila.
¡Muchas gracias! Es cierto, si que parece un helicóptero :), y además tiene unos ojos muy graciosos. Le recomiendo mucho que si pueda venir haga un paseo por la montaña desde la mañana. Solo le sugiero que se proteja del sol, porque llega a ser bastante fuerte por acá jaja. ¡Saludos!
