My grandmother's cats - This is how the new year begins
Hace unos años, cerca de la casa de mi abuela, una gata se quedó sin hogar mientras estaba embarazada. Un tiempo después de dar a luz, llegó a la casa de mi abuela con dos gatitos.
At that moment I decided to help them. So when the kittens were about three or 4 weeks old, I took them and their mother to be neutered in a medical center.
After they were cured, we found a home for one of them, and the other stayed at home with his mother. Before this, the cat gave birth regularly, but the kittens didn´t always survive or didn´t live long.
En ese momento decidí ayudarlos. Entonces, cuando los gatitos tenían unas tres o cuatro semanas, los llevé a esterilizar a ellos y a su madre a un centro médico.
Después de que se curaron, encontramos un hogar para uno de ellos y el otro se quedó en casa con su madre. Antes de esto, la gata paría regularmente, pero los gatitos no siempre sobrevivían o no vivían mucho.
So one of them stayed at home with his mother and some time later a second cat arrived that they called "Tigra", she was also neutered.
So now these three cats live at home, Newton, Tita and Tigra, that´s how they´re called. although they usually stay in the yard and come and go jumping over the walls. Sometimes more cats come in, and you can count up to 8 who come to eat in the yard.
Así que uno de ellos se quedó en casa con su madre y tiempo después llegó una segunda gata a la que llamaron "Tigra", ella también fue esterilizada.
Así que ahora viven en casa estos tres gatos, Newton, Tita y Tigra, así se llaman. aunque suelen quedarse en el patio y van y vienen saltando los muros. A veces entran más gatos, y puedes contar hasta 8 que vienen a comer al patio.
This afternoon of January 1, they were resting peacefully. I was a bit bored, so I decided to take some pictures of them. Hope you like them!

The reason why they underwent surgery was to avoid the overpopulation of cats and also diseases. I believe that in stray animals or animals that usually leave the house, it is the best thing that can be done to improve their quality of life.
El motivo por el que se sometieron a cirugía fue para evitar la sobrepoblación de gatos y también enfermedades. Creo que en los animales callejeros o animales que suelen salir de casa, es lo mejor que se puede hacer para mejorar su calidad de vida.

Hi! I'm so glad you were able to get the kittens spayed or neutered. Being a cat lover, I really appreciate that you are one of the few people who understand and create awareness regarding the overpopulation of cats that can certainly be avoided with this procedure.
