In different parts of the world, thyme grass is known as wild beet, gavur beet, and thyme. Although its shape is similar to that of several green vegetables such as spinach, it differs from all of those plants in terms of its properties.

Because it grows naturally in locations with a Mediterranean climate, it is widely consumed in those areas.
Before we get into the advantages of turf grass soup, which is popular in the winter, it's important to note that thyme is extremely poisonous and should never be eaten uncooked. In reality, it is suggested that the soup be made exactly according to the recipe, preferably by people who have made it many times before.

It hastens the healing of wounds in different regions of the body.
It helps to keep blood pressure and blood sugar in check, and as a result, it has beneficial benefits in the face of health issues including high blood pressure and diabetes.
It helps the digestive system function properly, which is especially beneficial for those who suffer from indigestion.
It also has anti-inflammatory effects that help with gastritis.
Although it has appealing qualities, it is also beneficial to those who suffer from obesity because it is a low-calorie, nutritional soup.
It keeps the kidneys healthy and prevents the production of stones and sand in the kidneys, according to legend.
It helps to prevent diseases like osteoporosis and muscle soreness by promoting bone and muscle health.
When you observe the benefits of turf grass, it's natural to want to consume it, but you shouldn't do so without first learning about them. The first thing to remember is that turf grass should never be eaten fresh. Making soup with this herb, which has harmful effects when ingested raw, is the most delightful, curative, and traditional way to consume it.

Thyme soup requires the following ingredients:
1 turf grass clump
1 cup whole grain cracked wheat
2 quarts yogurt
1 tblsp chickpeas
(at least 1/2 cup) flour
Water that is extremely hot (to adjust the consistency of the soup)
Preparation Steps
Put on your gloves and thoroughly wash and dry the turfgrass before placing it on a clean cutting board and finely chopping it.

Remove the chickpeas and wheat from a big pot in which the soup will be cooked.

Transfer the finely chopped thyme grass to these items.
Pour 2 bowls of yogurt into a big separate bowl or pitcher, then add water to make a thick buttermilk.

Pour the buttermilk you've made over the turf grass that's been waiting in the container.

Then add enough hot water to completely submerge the turf grass in the water.
Finally, dust the pan with flour to completely cover the mixture. (The amount of flour used will range from half a glass to one glass.)

After almost airtightening the mixture with the flour, do not mix it with it or allow it to melt into the mixture. The flour layer remains on top in this manner, which is intended to speed up and improve the fermentation and sour process.

Close the lid of the pot and, similar to the yoghurt yeasts, cover it with cloths and leave it in a warm area for 1 night if possible.
Put the pot on the stove the next day and start cooking it on medium heat, stirring constantly.

Cook the soup for 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally. As the water evaporates, add more hot water to adjust the consistency.

When the turf grass softens and your soup has a lovely sour flavor, it's done. Take pleasure in your food.

Taste-wise, thyme is probably my favorite herb. Thanks for this write-up. I really enjoy eating herbs, and I use them liberally in my food, but I never even think about all the health benefits of eating them.
Thanks. Thyme is frequently utilized in the preparation of French and Mediterranean cuisines. It has an earthy, herbal aroma and flavor that is comparable to oregano. Alternatively, it may have a minty flavor without the numbing feeling. In the end, it's a member of the mint family, after all.
