MCGI THANKSGIVING SERVICE FOR 02/03/2024

Thanks to the almighty God for the wonderful Thanksgiving Service with Brother Daniel Razor, today alot was actually taught and shared in order to build up our spiritual mind, hence on that note, I will go on and detail more on what I actually learnt at the course of the service.

In the book of Roman 15:5 went on to teach us the need to be in peace to all irrespective of where you found ourselves, hence this part of the scripture has to enlighten us believers are to live in harmony with their fellow where unity, patience and as well encouragement serves as part of our culture that we all believe that is the right thing to do

Hence on the other hand in 2 Peter 3:18, has to do with spiritual growth, where at most we are encouraged to keep to our spiritual growth, where we are all expected to give more and our best in order to grow spiritually. So therefore when we grow spiritually, we are also getting closer and more tight in our relationship with our father. Hence there is a need for every believer to be submissive in worship to God almighty as it is written in the book of Roman 13:2 where we are all reminded of the established authority we have to honor.

Across 1 Thessalonians 5;11 encouraged us to be our brother's keeper in time of need and all the time which implies that we ought to help, assist our fellow, hence by doing all this keep building a strong bond of communal relationship among the believers which has to encompass positivity, and support among the children of God. Let us be guided as we accept one another, hence we are expected to do as Christ has done for us in accepting us despite our shortcomings sometimes, hence regardless he loves us.

So brethren let us not to be selfish but let us be selfless to our fellow in order of considering the wellbeing of others, hence on that note the book of 1 Corithians 10:24 reminded us that we have to keep eyes on one another in place of showing empathy, so there is need to be of selfless in whatever we are doing, the same in 1 Corinthians 8:8 reminded us that we ought to love and as well have concern for our fellow while we keep of from attitude or approach that can scare them of from being part of us.

So let's be reminded that we are not main to cause harm to anyone, rather we have to come with peace, hence in Matthew 18:6 we are all reminded that we out to be off from attitude that can cause astray between we and our fellow, hence we are advised to refrain from such approach, reason because it does not give God joy in any way and it is not part of what we are sent here on earth to do rather to help and share love to one another as it is mentioned also in 1 Corinthians 10:30 that we to be mindful of our actions.

Hence just to remind you that there is a greater gain in walking within the space of the light which is truth and guidance from Jesus as it is written in John 11:9 we it was actually pointed out that we ought to be of Christ and not for the devil as we are main to be guided to avoid stumbling into the pit of hell where Satan have charge. And also in John 8:13 backed it up that we ought to be the light of the truth as just as the light of the world Jusus that brought salvation, and truth to the entire humanity.

Galatians 6:2 backed up this teaching with an advice for the believers over supporting and bearing one another's burden has we make progress as one family where solidarity, compassion plays a crucial role in the like of another's life, so let's practice what 1 Corinthians 12:24 said patterning to mutual caring and other other good approach.

Moral Lessons

● 1 Corinthians 11:18 Reminded us to maintain peace over division among ourselves in the house of God, which has to define our doctrine.

● James 3:14-18 Warn every believer to keep off from the act associated with jealousy, selfishness and earthly things, rather we encourage to be of humility, peace and righteousness unto God.

● 1 Corinthians 1:10 Encourages us being in unity among ourselves over division with the believers, so we ought to adopt an approach that keeps unity among many.

● Galatians 5:15 Warns strictly over the act of devouring our fellow which causes problem and division, hence we are mainly to love one another and not to be in problem with one another.

● Galatians 3:19-21 Encouraged faith, where we ought to and it is expected from us that we ought have faith in Chris Jesus rather than having hope in the hopeless.
