Repairing my faulty powerbank

Apart from tailors, the next set of people that will not make heaven are the phone engineers, repairers, or whatever we choose to call them. It's just a few of them that would work on your phone, and it lasts a long time if it's not a simple and direct fault. They have the habit of hanging and hiding the fault somewhere within the system, which will make the work appear neat and okay at that instance, and within a very short period, the fault will pop out and it'll turn into a jackpot for them.

Last week, while trying to rush to participate in TreasureHunt gaming in Dreemport, I had my powerbank fall from the spot I was charging it, and its charging point got damaged. I didn't feel it much because it's just a charging point, and it should be fixable by any phone engineer within minutes....as I thought.

Two days ago, I decided to take it to be repaired. I went to the closest phone engineer's shop close to my house. I met one of the guys there, and I gave him the power bank, pointing at the fault. He collected it, looked at it thoroughly, and said, "It's going to cost you $4"

"Haaaa! $4 is too much, na," I objected, and before I knew it, this man stretched it back to me with an attitude showing me that he's not interested in bargaining.

"Mtchwww!" I hissed and collected it back because $4 is way too much for such a mini fault.

I went to another place that looks quacky (the person doesn't have a shop; he works under an umbrella along the road).
When I got there, I showed him, and he said my bill was $2.

Omo! I didn't just bother to bargain; I gave him the go-ahead, and unknowing to me, that was my biggest mistake.

Within 1 hour, he fixed it, tested it, and gave it to me. When I looked at the charging spot, it didn't align at all; it looked like something that would spoil in one day's usage, so I told him that he didn't fix it well in case it fell off and that I'd return it, and he agreed.

That day, on my way home, I decided to drop the power bank in a charging centre (pay to charge) to charge it because we don't usually have electricity.
Yes, I plugged it there, and after a day, which was today, I went to take it, only to find the repaired charging point pulled out (damaged).
Although it was damaged by the charger man, but it was way too early. So I returned to the phone engineer to show him the outcome of his work, and he bodly told me that if he's going to repair it again, he's going to charge me the same amount again.

"For what I didn't use?" I voiced out, and he gave me the 'I don't care' attitude.

Of course, I'm a considerable person; I wasn't expecting him to redo the work again free of charge, but his demand for full payment put me off.

Just like I said to him, he's a quack, and even if I decide to repair it, he'll still do the same rubbish for me to come back to patronise him again. I blasted him very well, and I left.

Even if I had $1,000,000 to repair the power bank, there's no way I would give it to him again.

Lol 😂, so what did you decide to do at the end? You should have just gone to the guy that charged $4 maybe he would have done better work.

Omo! I'm regretting very badly.
If I had given it to the guy of $4 it would have saved me alot.

Planning to return it to the guy of $4🥰

Hehe 😅 this is too bad. This our power bank that fell on the D-day. So did you take it back home like that?

But wait o, you were supposed to taste if the power bank was charging properly before you collected it back naa.

That’s annoying, sadly there’s always going to be people out there who do poor quality work. The challenging part about it is the thought if you went to the first guy would it have worked? Difficult to say!

Honestly, these people with poor work are just so annoying.
