Newbies Initiative Task7: Final Task

What I think about Newbies Initiative and how it has helped me.

I've been to many writing platforms and I never experienced what I experienced on hive via the newbies initiative scheme in Hive Learners Community.

Infact when I joined this Hive after much procastination, I never thought of being tutored as to how I'll do my things on this blockchain. I only had the mind of learning via the normal process of asking questions from someone I know that's ahead of me, but this Newbies Initiative made everything simple for me, I got a deeper understanding of the whole areas on hive. I remember when I posted the task on account recovery, I got a comment by an old user that he didn't know all these.

Ever since I joined the newbies initiative, I've been encouraging other newbies to join the new phase because it's just the best stepping stone for any newbie on the blockchain.

This initiative has helped me alot and I'm gonna mention a few...

• I got a better understanding on having good Hive power. When I joined Hive, all my intention was to be withdrawing as I'm receiving earnings, I never had the intention of building a good Hive power or reputation. But all thanks to this initiative they opened my eyes to the benefit of accumulating Hive power.

• I never suffered writer's block:
  It sounds funny but all through the Initiative, I never found it hard to hunt for writing topic because there was always a topic as task for the week...and the best moment was when I got encouraged via upvotes on those tasks/topics

• I got understanding on how to safeguard my account details.
  Yeah, we have back up means of protecting Accounts keys outside the normal "save it on a drive"

• Playing games: I'm not the gaming type but I got to understand that I can depend on gaming whenever I'm not interested in writing. It's a win-win.

My benefits for the task.
Just like I mentioned above, the tasks weren't just eyes openers but I got upvotes from them as well.
They were some task that proved stubborn in doing them but it got softer when I attempted them and they've become part of me. Practice makes perfect.

Suggestion for improvement on the Newbies Initiative
During some task, we got some challenges doing them and that's because the tutorials weren't direct or maybe the lecturers implored the tertiary institution pattern of lecturing where students are left to make research for better understanding...

I'm not saying that you guys left any part untouched but some of those lectures needed a more broken down approaches.
Honestly, I didn't battled to do most of the task, it's just what I noticed from my colleagues that complained about them.

Please, let's adopt more breakdown processes of lecturing or let me say, carrying everyone along.

I won't lie, I didn't meet up with the written targets but I'm so much excited for gaining the knowledge which is far more important.
The most interesting thing is that I can now stand on my own to navigate everywhere without disturbing anyone.
Wait! Did I just said that? Lol😂. We can't know it all, so if by any means I'm hooked somewhere in the future, I have a permanent leader @hopestylist to beckoned on.

I'm not a fan of tagging people because it always look like disturbance but please permit me to call names...
