How's it any more dangerous than plastic that is flammable as well?

The difference is that plastic is UL tested to withstand whats supposed to be in that box. The plastic has a fire rating of whatever location is suggested to be used in. They all have a fire ratings. The moment you place wood inside there changes the whole engineering and safety aspect of the equipment.

True, well glad I am keeping these boxes outside well away from the home. None of these projects are running inside my home.
