ETH Merge | Our Thoughts and Best Practices for Exchanges/Wallets
Not your keys, not your crypto, and keeping tokens on an exchange is not advisable at all. The ETH merge took place the same day we recorded the LeoFinance AMA and in this clip from the podcast, we focus on how this might impact the entire Crypto industry.
We also give some PSA warnings bout holding funds on an exchange and how we must be exponentially more careful and cautious when there’s an airdrop, merge, token allocation or anything similar.
This merge ended up being smooth but there are scams running rampant. Be careful in times like these and keep an eye out for anything that seems too good to be true.
IMO, the merge went well but there could still be fallouts from the merge that you might not expect. Just be careful out there frens.

Alot of crypto users anticipated the loads of scams that may come with the upgrade. That was perhaps even a more anticipated side effects of the merge than another community doing a fork to retain the PoW consensus. So many of us are already on the look out for them unfortunately, some people have been victims of the crazy scams since the merge.
Glad the merge was a success and I'm positive that your suggestions and approach if implemented will certain keep scammers and exploiters from going farther than they've come.
Been vigilant here is very important, so as not to fall victim of being scam via the merge,but besides that this is definitely a very good one for Ethereum too
I know something like this is going to happen. many scammers will be out trying to fool people about getting airdrop. So this time it important to be careful and don't follow instructions of any link that claim to give airdrops.

Centralized exchanges are for temporary use only. Decentralzied wallets are the real digital home for assets like crypto. There is no second though to it. Period!
