Monomad: Rhinoceros beetle (Xylotrupes gideon)

IMG20211228074022.jpg

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes

Here are some pictures of rhinoceros beetle in BNW format. The rhinoceros beetle has a larger body size than other beetles and their species are quite numerous.

Looks like this beetle last night had an incident while flying close to the light, I think he hit the wall of my house and fell with his stomach up. When his body position is reversed he will find it difficult to return to its original position.

As we can see, the rhinoceros beetle has wings that are almost shell-like.

In the morning I found him on the terrace of the house and took some of these pictures. Almost 30 minutes he was silent where I put him and I think this beetle began to flap its wings and then flew slowly until it disappeared.
