Macrophotography | Some charming flower flies
Hello interesting insect friends, my post this time wants to show some pictures of flower flies that have quite interesting colors.
My first discovery was the fly Episyrphus, Episyrphus is a genus of hoverflies.
This hoverfly has a yellow-orange body with a narrow dark band on the belly. The upper side of the chest is covered with a black metal shield and the rest is covered with orange-yellow hair. Between the dark purple eyes, there is a metallic blue section on the front head. The wings are transparent. Overall length is about 8 mm.
And my second discovery was the Condilostylus fly, this fly has a fairly small body with a metallic green color all over its body. These flies are also pests of flowering plants.
And the last one is Eumerus fly. They also have a fairly small body size with a characteristic smooth round belly. Has the ability to fly fast and this fly also includes flower flies.
