[ESP/ENG] My experience as a novice in futures trading and what you should NOT do if you are starting out 🤪

Hola amigos, mi primera publicación en esta comunidad 😊 y es que estoy conociendo un poco mas sobre las criptomonedas, los mercados y el trading. Por eso, el día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes aquí en Hive, mi expendía como novato trader jaja.

Antes que nada quiero aclarar que esta experiencia no fue nada buena jaja pero 100% real y como dicen por ahí "de los errores se aprende" espero esto pueda ser de gran ayuda para los que estén iniciando o estén por iniciar en este mundo.

Así que esto es un post de lo que me pasó y de lo que claramente "NO DEBES HACER" 😁😁😁😁😁

Comenzamos 👇

Comienzo contando que antes de empezar en el trading no tenia mucho conocimiento acerca de el, solo sabia que se trataba de "comprar y vender" en este caso como yo lo hice, con criptomonedas.

Mi presupuesto inicial fue de 9 dólares, a lo que inicie operando con el 50%, es decir 4.5 dólares.

La criptomoneda que elegí en un principio fue Terra Luna la cual para ese momento presentaba una volatilidad bastante alta, esto me sirvió a multiplicar en un principio esos 9 dólares iniciales.

A un apalancamiento de 40x, ya desde ahí comenzó todo mal jaja pero en ese entonces no lo sabia, sin embargo esa misma noche cerré con mi cuenta en 12 dólares, ya había ganado 3 dólares en 2 horas y unas cuantas ordenes.

Al día siguiente con la misma criptomoneda y otras cuantas ordenes abiertas, subí mi cuenta a 18 dólares, aunque esta vez con una advertencia de liquidación, mi saldo en un momento llego a estar en -80%, sin embargo después de esto el precio se torno nuevamente a mi favor y la operación cerro a mi favor.

Tercer día: Una nueva amenaza de liquidación, en medio de una orden, el precio se fue en mi contra a mas de ese 80% con el que ya me había amenazado antes, dejé la operación abierta toda la noche y me fui a dormir, cuando me levanto al día siguiente la operación había cerrado también a mi favor, mi cuenta amaneció en 29 dólares.

Dos días mas tradeando logré subir mi cuenta a 69 dólares, estaba muy contento con lo logrado pero lo peor estaba por venir.

Un día en la tarde en una tendencia bajista, pensé que el recio seguiría cayendo asi que abrí una nueva posición siguiendo esta tendencia, cuando de pronto se giró, se fue al alza sin intenciones de caer.

Y así fue, no cayó mas la moneda y terminó liquidandome. Te comento 3 errores que cometí en este punto.

1- : No usar Stop Loss, esto me hubiese sacado de la operación con una perdida aceptable y me hubiese dado chance de entrar nuevamente recuperar y ganar.

2- : No salirme de la operación cuando tuve oportunidad, el precio llegó a detenerse en varias ocasiones donde hubiese perdido unos 10 dólares, pero en vez de eso la deje rodar terminando perdiendo todo.

3- : Por ultimo lo que hice fue aumentar el margen de pérdida cuando el precio se estaba acercando a mi precio de liquidación, estaba operando con el 75% de mi capital, lo aumenté al 100% terminando perdiendo el total de la cuenta. 😖

Estos errores son bastante comunes en personas que empiezan a operar sin conocimiento, como yo, que no tenia idea de lo que hacia pero creía que ya sabia todo lo necesario para operar.

Actualmente me encuentro llenándome de conocimientos para poder operar mejor, practicando en cuentas DEMO y buscando las mejores estrategias, o por lo menos que me puedan dar resultados, y esperando ahorrar un capital que pueda usar cuando ya me sienta preparado.

Una de las cosas que aprendí es que el dinero no llega fácil y que el trading debes estudiarlo, no por empezar ganando algunas operaciones se debe pensar que es fácil y que así será siempre, la volatilidad de los mercados no se debe subestimar, en cualquier momento puede sacudirte tan fuerte hasta dejarte sin nada. 😌

Espero esta experiencia pueda ser de gran ayuda para muchos que quieran ingresar al mundo del trading.

So this is a post of what happened to me and what you clearly "SHOULD NOT DO " 😁😁😁😁😁

I start by telling you that before I started trading I didn't have much knowledge about it, I only knew that it was about "buying and selling" in this case as I did, with cryptocurrencies.

My initial budget was 9 dollars, to which I started trading with 50%, that is 4.5 dollars.

Third day: A new threat of liquidation, in the middle of an order, the price went against me to more than 80% with which I had already threatened me before, I left the operation open all night and went to sleep, when I woke up the next day the operation had also closed in my favor, my account dawned at $ 29.

Two more days trading I managed to raise my account to 69 dollars, I was very happy with what I had achieved but the worst was yet to come.

One day in the afternoon in a downtrend, I thought that the price would continue to fall so I opened a new position following this trend, when suddenly it turned around, it went up with no intention of falling.

And so it was, the coin did not fall any more and ended up liquidating me. I will tell you 3 mistakes I made at this point.

1- : Not using Stop Loss, this would have taken me out of the operation with an acceptable loss and would have given me a chance to enter again to recover and win.

2- : Not getting out of the trade when I had the chance, the price stopped several times where I would have lost about 10 dollars, but instead I let it roll and ended up losing everything.

3- : Lastly what I did was increase the stop loss margin when the price was getting close to my liquidation price, I was trading with 75% of my capital, I increased it to 100% ending up losing the whole account. 😖

These mistakes are quite common in people who start trading without knowledge, like me, who had no idea what I was doing but I thought I already knew everything I needed to trade.

At the moment I am filling myself with knowledge to be able to trade better, practicing on DEMO accounts and looking for the best strategies, or at least that can give me results, and hoping to save some capital that I can use when I feel ready.

One of the things I learned is that money does not come easy and that trading you must study it, not to start winning some operations you should not think it is easy and that it will always be so, the volatility of the markets should not be underestimated, at any time can shake you so hard to leave you with nothing. 😌
