This question reminds me of my 27+ year friendship with my late Roommate, Deb. With permission of her surviving sister I have possession of Deb's remains for the day we will be buried together as roommates again and forever. 💞 ✝️

Wow, twenty seven years of friendship is no child's play here. It shows how strong the bond you shared with your friend is. May her memory always remain a cherished part of your life. Thanks for sharing.

Her "remains", you mean a part of her body or belongings.

"for the day we will be buried together as roommates again and forever. 💞 ✝️"
I don't get that; can you please be clearer.

She choose to be Cremated, I placed her mahogany urn at a special place I set aside in my home.
Last year I bought a burial plot at a very pretty cemetery for myself. I instructed my Sons to bury my best friend's Mahogany urn with me to rest together until the Lord calls our names into his glory.

This brought tears to my eyes. I'm so sorry for the void she left💜

27+ years is no easy commitment. That's admirable but sad that you had to lose her to death. I know it must've been difficult all these years without her but I'm glad you have her remains to help seal your friendship, even in death.

Sending you hugs, sis.🫂🌺

This is what we both wanted; inseparable even in death by God's grace.
