My Leo Powerup Day Feb 15, 2023

This morning I’ve been test driving the new alpha.leofinace User Interface and finally got into this #thread(ing) business. And no, it has nothing to do with sewing. Since I booked the night off my regular work schedule to attend to my Roommate’s medical needs, I may have a little spare time to try a post.

Slick UI, a layout improvement over the old front end that I have come to know. While a few features are yet working the Leofinance Devs will be working out the bugs over the next several months as the issues manifest and it will be up to us to find and report them and improve the experience. Publish picture preview seems to have a problem. Hmmm. Better go back to the original for now.

Did you take a little advantage of the February 2nd Hive Price Pump? It wasn’t much of an advantage anyway by the time I acted but Since I was at the internal DEX, I topped up my liquid Leo balance with least 150 in preparation of this month’s #leopowerupday with extra tokens for a running start to next one.

However, there’s something else growling in the background this month. I’m pretty new to the Leo finance Discord and have been watching from the sidelines before this week. I have a modest Leo power balance of 2.25k which still allowed me access to another feature that’s running in the background. I can’t say what it is but you’ll need 2k Leo tokens powered up to see.

Along with this month’s Leo Powerup are a few surprise wrinkles but the basic qualifications are still;

  • Your total LP must be under 25k on Feb 15th.
  • You must power up at least 150 on Feb 15th.
  • You mustn’t have powered down Leo since November 15th.
  • Make a post or a thread on Leo Finance about #LPUD.

It's taken me three years to earn my way to 2400 Leo Power so I've caved to buying enough to top up since the price is rather low for a while and at the same time great potential upside should Hive gets going.

I haven't been focusing on Leo enough while putting much more emphasis on Hive. A portion of my Hive power capital was a result of an unexpected profit from a meme coin. So many cogs and gears turning and now I'm tangled up in #threads.

I took advantage of the pump but just a few. And I kind've regretted that I bought it back at quite a higher price 😅.

The price advantage didn't last very long as Hive/Leo ratio price action correlates close together with the best opportunity was in the beginning of the pump. For me, there was just enough lag to leverage a few extra tokens at that time.
At $0.05 Leo has great upside.
