Reuniting with a good friend | Abdullah Riyan Khan

Not my words. Hehe

I know two or more people that would make that statement once they see this post. And, I have to admit, they are not wrong. I had a very good day. That is one of the reasons why I'm here by 21:45 WAT, trying to have a post to my name on the blockchain - something for posterity sake and for your reading pleasure.

Imagine a scenario where you get to reunite with a friend after not knowing each other's whereabouts for a couple of months.

Yeah, that's what happened today. I got to reunite with Abdullah Riyan Khan. I'm pretty sure that the oldbies in Dreemport discord channel have a good memory of this young Cricketer. Hehe.

He is not just a friend, he is also a Delta colleague who passed through the gate of Uptrend University with me. That's where we learned everything about being a better content creator.

We advanced from being students to tutors. At a point, I started learning Pashto and Urdu from him. Yeah, he is a Pakistan and those two languages are the major ones in his country. I learned quite a lot, but 85% of what I learnt can only be used for swearing. Lol. I guess it's the same for a lot of language learners. The bad words are usually the ones that stick to our memory.

Or, I may be the only one it happens to.
Doesn't matter. Hehe.

We were both actively established in a Crypto based platform which has already seen its end. It was this sudden demise that led to a crack in our interaction. It took him longer than a while to get back to the blogging world, but the good news is that he is back and blazing as expected.

The follow-up conversation sparked off like the good old days.

He is a friend I met online and we have a very strong bond. Like brothers.

Now that I'm thinking of this, I am reassured that I have been able to build a lot of relationships with people from different parts of the world. An enviable relationship at that. All thanks to blockchain-based websites.

The money I make online is good, the genuine relationship I build is also valuable. There are days when I just don't feel like writing, I find myself having a long chat on discord with these people and I learn a lot from each of these conversations.

Today is one of such days. Thankfully, I still managed to squeeze out a post, but even if I didn't get to post, it would have still been a perfect start to a new week.

Thanks to all the people I'm connected with. I respect the time we spend together. You know that I mean it. Hehwh.

As usual, I didn't get to tag anyone on the post because the shy version of me kinda kicked in. Hehe.
