A Year-End Gift / Un Regalo De Fin De Año [ENG-ESP]

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well. To be honest, we are still getting back to reality after the holidays and New Year celebrations. I want to tell you about a New Year's gift. Stay tuned and I'll tell you all about it.
On December 31, my sister gave me a gift: a bottle of rum, which we Venezuelans call “a botella de ron a lo criollito,” called Carta Roja. It goes well with Coca-Cola, better known as a Cuba Libre. Not only did she give me that gift, but she also gave me a small can of Pringles, a small panettone with candied fruit, which I didn't like very much, but it was tasty, a pirulin, which for those who are not from the country are wafers or tubes filled with chocolate and hazelnuts, dandy, which are like M&Ms but are made in Colombia, some butter cookies, and Japanese peanuts. It was really a nice gesture. If only they knew I didn't drink the whole bottle, I only drank what I needed to. Times change, and I no longer want to wake up with a hangover headache, ha ha ha, but I did enjoy myself. During Christmas, what you do is eat sweets in addition to the typical food.
It was normal to exchange gifts, whether material things or snacks. I don't know if there are still families who keep this beautiful tradition alive, but I imagine so, although I miss it a lot since most of them are no longer in the country. But anyway, this was a nice gesture. I'll drink the bottle little by little with soda while listening to music. Plus, Carnival is coming up in a month, so it won't go to waste. Hola a todos, espero que anden muy bien, la verdad que aún estamos volviendo a la realidad del año nuevo luego de descansar y las fiestas, les quiero hablar de un regalo de fin de año quédate y te cuento.
El 31 de diciembre mi hermana me hizo ese regalo, una botella de ron a lo criollito como decimos nosotros los venezolanos, llamada carta roja, se puede acompañar fácilmente con coca cola, mejor conocida como cuba libre, no solo eso tenía el regalo que dio sino también la lata de papas pringles pequeña, un panetone pequeño de frutas confitadas a pesar que no me gusta mucho este estaba sabroso, un pirulin que para los que no sean del país son unas barquillas o tubos rellenos de chocolate con avellanas, dandy que vendrían siendo como los M&M pero estos se fabrican en Colombia, unas galletas de mantequilla, y maní japonés, de verdad que fue un gran detalle, si supieran que no me tome esa botella completa si estuve tomando lo necesario los tiempos cambian ya no se quiere amanecer con dolor de cabeza por la resaca jajaja, pero si disfrute, esos días navidad lo que hace uno es comer dulces aparte de la comida típica.
Era normal hacer intercambios de regalos ya sea de cosas materiales o aperitivos, no sé si aún haya familias que aun tengan esa bonita tradición viva, me imagino que sí, aunque extraño mucho ya que la mayoría no está en el país, pero bueno de igual manera este detalle fue bueno, la botella la iré bajando paso a paso con refresco escuchando música además en un mes viene carnaval así que no estará sobrando, quería traer estas fotos con ustedes, en cada hogar hay esas tradiciones de familia que hace de esos días sean mucho mejor, espero que les haya gustado mi blog, nos vemos luego.
