Haciéndole la piñata a mi hijo para su cumpleaños #6 de temática de Dinosaurios

Espero que se encuentren súper bien. Hace poco, mi hijo mayor cumplió 6 años el 12 de junio. Mis dos bebés cumplen años con solo un mes de diferencia, así que se viene una pequeña fiesta para celebrar sus 6 añitos. Aunque será una celebración sencilla entre familia, al igual que la del bebé chiquito, yo siempre estoy encantada de hacerles su decoración, torta y piñata. Por eso, quiero compartirles el paso a paso de esta pequeña piñata inspirada en los dinosaurios. Espero de todo corazón que les guste tanto como a mí.

I hope you are doing super well. Recently, my oldest son turned 6 years old on June 12. Both of my babies have birthdays just a month apart, so I'm having a little party to celebrate their 6th birthday. Although it will be a simple family celebration, just like the little baby's, I am always happy to make their decorations, cake and piñata. That's why I want to share with you the step by step of this little piñata inspired by dinosaurs. I wholeheartedly hope you love it as much as I do.
Paso a paso:
- Elaboración de la base:
o Recorté dos círculos del tamaño de una tortera en cartón.
o Corté una tira de cartón para unir los círculos como un tambor.
o Fortalecí la estructura con papel y pega, y esperé a que secara.
Step by step:
- Making the base:
o I cut out two circles the size of a pancake pan out of cardboard.
o I cut a strip of cardboard to join the circles together like a drum.
o I strengthened the structure with paper and glue, and waited for it to dry.
- Decoración con papel crepé:
o Utilicé papel crepé de color naranja para la base de la piñata.
o Agregué tiras de papel crepé verde y naranja para crear la temática de dinosaurios.
o Para el faralao, pegué tiras de papel crepé alrededor de los bordes, cubriendo toda la piñata con estos dos colores.
- Decorating with crepe paper:
o I used orange crepe paper for the base of the piñata.
o I added strips of green and orange crepe paper to create the dinosaur theme.
o For the faralao, I glued strips of crepe paper around the edges, covering the entire piñata with these two colors.
- Detalles finales:
o Pinté un lindo y gran dinosaurio del tamaño de la piñata.
o Lo recorté y pegué sobre foami verde.
o Recorté la silueta del dinosaurio y la pegué en el centro de la piñata.
o Con el mismo foami, pinté y recorté diferentes hojas para colocarlas en la base de la piñata.

- Final details:
o I painted a nice big dinosaur the size of the piñata.
o I cut it out and glued it onto green foami.
o I cut out the silhouette of the dinosaur and glued it in the center of the piñata.
o With the same foami, I painted and cut out different leaves to place them on the base of the piñata.
