A travel story in the wonderful beauty of rural Bengal.

A travel story in the wonderful beauty of rural Bengal.

Hello friends hope everyone is doing well. First of all I would like to wish everyone advance greetings and greetings for the new year. Our new year is coming. Wishing you a very good New Year. My writing today is about my tomorrow. Yesterday I went on a trip to a village in Tangail district. There is basically a cousin's house of mine.

He stays there for the reason of going there. Tangail district is one of the largest districts of Bangladesh. This district has many historical and traditional things that we can see.

The villages here are really beautiful. I like them very much. As it is a district of North Bengal due to which people do good agriculture in this district. After I entered the village first, we went for a walk around the village in the afternoon, there is a river.

First we went to see the river which I found very interesting. There was a small river. Although this river is known as a tributary river I don't remember the exact name of the river.

I saw people moving in the river with boats I saw a boat where a boatman was taking two women in a boat and in their boat there was a lot of wood which they may have collected by cutting trees.

Due to the small size of the river, the surrounding lands may be irrigated by the river. I heard from the people there that this river is very important to them. Because there is a lot of land around the river. In which they cultivate with the water of this river. As the river is small it is very easy for them to collect water from the river.

The river used to be quite big but due to siltation the river has become much smaller now. He went in search of us along the river. Which is why I didn't take any pictures there.

It is very nice to walk along the path of the village. We were walking on the village road. At that time I saw a woman walking with two bullocks. We asked her where are you going. He said that he had come here in the morning with these cows. Her cow grazing is over so now she is going home with her cows. There are many women who do housework and they leave the cows tied up in these places.

Then by evening when the cows finished eating, they took the cows home. This is a tradition of village Bengal in our country. But day by day agricultural land is disappearing from us. Due to which these are not seen in rural Bengal.

At present, paddy harvesting is over all around. But in some fields, I could see that new paddy seedlings have been planted. I came here and did not understand exactly what kind of rice seedlings these are. Maybe there will be a new variety of rice they have planted these rice.

Anyway, I saw lots of palm trees there. I like to see these palm trees. The palm trees looked quite old. They planted all the palm trees around their land. Very good dates are obtained from palm trees.

I heard that dates are available even in this winter. But I don't remember exactly in which season the palm trees of Bangladesh are caught.

So this was some writing about my trip. Hope you all like it. Of course you will comment. Let me know how you like it.
