Starość, spędzana na czytaniu książki na ławce w parku w cieniu drzewa to nie taki zły pomysł, nie?
Ależ skąd! Ja mam zamiar leżeć na plaży na Gran Canarii, nie z książką, a z kindelkiem w ręku. Plus, będę babcią w szortach. To zdecydowanie.
Ale tak mnie dziś nastroiło na taki miły, parkowy rysunek.

Spending your old age reading a book on a park bench in the shade of a tree isn't such a bad idea, right?
Of course not! I'm going to lie on the beach in Gran Canaria, not with a book, but with a kindle in my hand. Plus, I'll be a granny in shorts. That's definitely it.
But today I was in the mood for such a nice, park-like drawing.

Dodam, że rysowało mi się go z ogromną przyjemnością i bardzo mnie zrelaksował - choć ostatnio, po chorobie, to ja ogólnie zrelaksowana jestem.

I will add that I had great pleasure drawing him and he relaxed me a lot - although recently, after illness, I am generally relaxed.

Zaczęłam jak zwykle od szybkiego szkicu ołówkiem promującym logo Hive.

I started, as usual, with a quick pencil sketch promoting the Hive logo.

A potem poszłam po rozum do głowy i wprowadziłam drobną innowację :D Zawsze zaczynam od detali, a potem męczę się z tłem okropnie. I zwykle to tło psuje mój efekt finalny. Dlatego tym razem zaczęłam od tła - machnęłam go szybko farbkami akwarelowymi z action. Minus tego rozwiązania polegał na tym, że rysunek był dość mokry, więc żeby go nie babrać ręką podczas rysowania kredkami, musiał odczekać do jutra.

And then I came to my senses and introduced a small innovation :D I always start with the details, and then I get terribly tired of the background. And usually it's the background that spoils my final effect. That's why this time I started with the background - I quickly painted it with action watercolor paints. The disadvantage of this solution was that the drawing was quite wet, so in order not to mess with it with his hand while drawing with crayons, he had to wait until tomorrow.

The next day I started Grandma on the bench.

Pozostaje parę machnięć mokrym pędzelkiem i mój rysunek gotowy.
