A visit to the breathing dam !

Good Morning Everyone,
The Victoria Dam is an arch dam located 209 kilometers upstream from the mouth of the Mahaweli River and 6 kilometers from Teldeniya. This is a wonderful location with an amazing view. Irrigation and hydroelectric power generation are two of its major purposes. It is Sri Lanka's highest dam and residence to the country's largest hydroelectric power plant, with a capacity of 210 megawatts.
