A day with the family, I'm not going to lie, it had been a long time since I sat down to watch movies; we used to watch movies every night, preferably comedies, but today we decided to watch a different one, the title captivated us and its moving images gave us reason to give it a chance.

Un dia en familia, no les voy a mentir tenía mucho tiempo que no me sentaba a ver películas; acostumbrábamos ver películas todas las noches, preferiblemente de comedias pero hoy decidimos ver una diferente la cual el título nos cautivó y sus imágenes conmovedoras motivos para darle una oportunidad.

The Boy Who Tamed the Wind is an inspiring and honest film about families who depend on crops and live by their radio transistors to keep track of weather changes, which affect the well-being of their crops. But the Kamkwamba's have two children with the possibility of developing their studies: Annie wants to go to college and her younger brother, William, will start going to school.

El niño que domó el viento es una película inspiradora y honesta, se trata de familias que dependen de cosechas, viven pendientes de sus radiotransistores ya que de ahí se informan de los cambios climáticos, la cual afectan el bienestar de sus cultivos. Pero los Kamkwamba tienen dos hijos con posibilidad de desarrollar unos estudios: Annie desea ir a la universidad y su hermano menor, William, comenzará a ir a la escuela.

Try well and Agnes, the parents of the boy who tamed the wind, struggling to get ahead working hard under the sun, but several circumstances come together; several communities sell their trees to get money, due to this the drought threatens a lethal famine. Despite the difficulties William had hoped to get ahead and leave everything aside, with the help of some members of his community creates a windmill that allows him to repair a water pump to be able to irrigate at any time of the year, regardless of the season they are in.

Trywell y Agnes, los padres del niño que domó el viento, luchan para salir adelante trabajando duro bajo el sol, pero se juntan varias circunstancias; varias comunidades venden sus árboles para conseguir dinero, debido a esto se suma la sequía que amenaza con una hambruna letal. A pesar de las dificultades William tenía esperanza de salir adelante e dejar todo a un lado, con la ayuda de algunos miembros de su comunidad crea un molino de viento que le permite reparar una bomba de agua con el fin de poder regar en cualquier época del año, independientemente de la estación que se encuentren.

This Netflix movie manages to touch the heart of the viewer, it also shows a reality which the world can identify with the message it conveys. Without a doubt, it is one of the most inspiring movies I have seen; a beautiful story that highlights the importance of education, and how in situations where life hits you, you may feel that hope is lost but you always have to remember the little things can be sparks that light up the brightest minds. I liked the acting and the filmography, I would honestly watch it again and I think I would cry again.

Esta película de Netflix consigue tocar el corazón del espectador, además muestra una realidad la cual el mundo puede identificarse con el mensaje que transmite. Sin duda alguna, es una de las películas más inspiradoras que he visto; una hermosa historia que resalta la importancia de la educación, y cómo en situaciones donde la vida te golpea, puedes sentir que la esperanza se pierde pero siempre hay que recordar las cosas pequeñas pueden ser chispas que iluminan las mentes más brillantes. Se actuación y la filmografía me gustó,
sinceramente la volvería a ver y creo que lloraría nuevamente.

I haven't seen it, because I've seen the trailer and I know the whole movie. Then I started reading about the boy's real life and I didn't want to see it. I don't think I will ever see it, it has a nice message and it is very emotional, a movie to burst into tears.
