Compartiendo en familia|haciendo hallacas[ESP-ENG]

Compartir con amigos que son como nuestra familia es la medicina que necesitamos nosotros los emigrarás, estar fuera del país no es nada fácil y más si estás lejos de tus familiares es más doloroso, aunque tratemos de pasarla bien un rato siempre vamos a tener el corazón ellos.

Sharing with friends who are like our family is the medicine we need, being out of the country is not easy and even more if you are far away from your family is more painful, even if we try to have a good time for a while we will always have our hearts with them.

Hace varios días decidimos reunirnos para hacer las hallacas, pero cómo buen venezolano eso implica tomar, comer y pasarla bien; el punto de encuentro fue en casa de una gran amiga la cual siempre nos reunimos ahí por el espacio ya que la mayoría viven en apartamento, comenzamos desde las 10 de la mañana debido que teníamos que esperar que se enfriara el guiso.

Several days ago we decided to get together to make hallacas, but how good Venezuelan that involves drinking, eating and having a good time; the meeting point was at a great friend's house which we always meet there because of the space since most of them live in an apartment, we started at 10 am because we had to wait for the stew to cool.

Sin embargo pensé que íbamos a comenzar a preparar tarde las hallacas pero me equivoqué a las 2 de la tarde se comenzó armarlas, como éramos varios se hizo más rápido todos ayudaron; la pasamos bien compartiendo y recordando los momentos que vivimos en Venezuela, con buena música de gaita la cual lloramos tanto de felicidad como de tristeza, es inevitable no recordar esos momentos felices en casa con toda la familia disfrutando.

However I thought we were going to start preparing the hallacas late but I was wrong, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon we started to assemble them, as there were several of us it was done faster, everyone helped; we had a good time sharing and remembering the moments we lived in Venezuela, with good gaita music which we cried both of happiness and sadness, it is inevitable not to remember those happy moments at home with the whole family enjoying.

Es importante siempre tener una sonrisa y disfrutar de cada día que te regala la vida; a pesar de lo que estemos pasando debemos continuar y seguir luchando por lo que nos propongamos, no tendrás otra vida la oportunidad es ahora o nunca así que no dejes para mañana lo que puedas hacer hoy y disfruta el momento.

It is important to always have a smile and enjoy every day that life gives you; despite what we are going through we must continue and keep fighting for what we propose, you will not have another life, the opportunity is now or never so do not leave for tomorrow what you can do today and enjoy the moment.
