NeedleWork || Tejer para Creer | Un vestido para muñeca bebé.
Blessed day my dear needleworkers, I hope you are well. Welcome once again to my blog. Today I am very happy to share with you again a knitting project. For health reasons, I was a little away from the needles, not completely but I had to stop knitting big projects, however, I have not abandoned the small projects. This time I bring you a very special project, a dress for my nieces' dolls.
The publication is called "Knitting to believe" because for me knitting is magic and allows you to create things that maybe you thought you could not do as is the case of my project today.
I always regretted not having been able to knit a dress for my daughter when she was a baby, the truth is that at that time I only knitted little cloths and I was a little scared of knitting clothes.
That's why when I went to visit my nieces Sara and Victoria last week and saw that they had new dolls, I offered to knit a dress for each of them.
Today I was able to finish the first of the dresses. I knitted it little by little, most of the work was done at night, that's why some of the pictures are a little dark.
Below I share with you pictures of the knitting process, however it is not a tutorial since I knitted it with the trial and error method (knit and unknit) since it is the first time I make a dress of this size.
Since this is a baby girl, I also knitted her a cute little hat to match the dress. As a final step I put a small white bow on the yoke and a little flower on the hat and with this I have the outfit of one of the dolls ready, for next week I hope to have the other dress ready and be able to fulfill this very special mission.
Thank you once again for visiting my blog and joining me during the creative process of my crochet garments. If you like to develop any kind of art with needles or fibers and yarns I invite you to share your projects in our beloved community @needlewormonday, where we meet every Monday to share our experiences. Greetings and blessings!
