Bendecido día mis queridos hivers amantes de la cocina y e buen comer, espero que se encuentren bien y estén teniendo una excelente semana. Después de estar un poco alejada de los posts de cocina, he vuelto para compartir con ustedes un plato que a mis hijos les encanta que les prepare. Se trata de una pasta corta con pollo bañada en crema de leche. Es un plato muy sencillo, es como la versión pobre de la pasta carbonara jeje.

After being a little away from the cooking posts, I have returned to share with you a dish that my children love me to prepare for them. It is a short pasta with chicken dipped in heavy cream. It is a very simple dish, it is like the poor version of pasta carbonara hehe.

  • 1 Pechuga de pollo picada en trozos
  • 500 grs de pasta corta
  • 1 lata de crema de leche
  • 1/2 lata de leche evaporada
  • Perejil picadito
  • Ajo porro
  • 1 Cebolla mediana
  • 1 chicken breast chopped in pieces
  • 500 grs of short pasta
  • 1 can of milk cream
  • 1/2 can evaporated milk
  • Chopped parsley
  • Garlic
  • 1 medium onion

Sazonar el pollo con un poco de mostaza, salsa de ajo, pimienta negra y sal al gusto.

Season the chicken with a little mustard, garlic sauce, black pepper and salt to taste.

Colocar el pollo en una satén caliente con mantequilla y dejar cocinar hasta que esté bien dorado.

Place the chicken in a hot buttered pan and cook until golden brown.

Cocinar la pasta y dejar reposar.

Cook the pasta and let it rest.

Cortar la cebolla y el ajo porro en trozos muy pequeños y delgados.

Cut the onion and garlic into very small, thin pieces.

Sofreír en una sartén la cebolla y el ajo porro con un poco de mantequilla y mostaza.

In a frying pan, sauté the onion and the garlic with a little butter and mustard.

Agregar la leche y la crema de leche a los aliños ya sofritos, remover y dejar cocinar por unos cinco minutos.

Add the milk and cream to the sautéed seasonings, stir and cook for about five minutes.

Incorporar el pollo y el perejil picado a la mezcla. Remover y dejar cocinar por solo unos minutos.

Add the chicken and chopped parsley to the mixture. Stir and cook for only a few minutes.

Añadir la pasta y un poco de queso Edam, tapar y dejar cocinar a fuego lento hasta que el queso se derrita.

Add the pasta and a little Edam cheese, cover and simmer until the cheese melts.

De este modo tan fácil y sencillo podremos disfrutar de una rica pasta con pollo bañada en crema de leche.
