Querida familia de Hive, hoy me complace compartir con ustedes uno de los tantos momentos significativos para la familia; en este caso la realización de la bota navideña de mi pequeña Kiara, esta sería su primera navidad así que me ocupé en darle una cálida bienvenida a cada ocasión festiva en la que se vaya integrando. A continuación nuestro paso a paso:l
Dear Hive Family, today I am pleased to share with you one of the many significant moments for the family; In this case, the realization of my little Kiara's Christmas boot, this would be her first Christmas so I took care to give her a warm welcome to each festive occasion in which she is integrated. Here is our step by step:
Materiales:
- Retazos de telas de nuestra preferencia
- Aguja e hilos
- Material de bisutería
Materials:
- Patchwork of fabrics of our preference
- Needle and threads
- Jewelry material
1: dos retazos de telas rojas con una medida aproximada de 25 cm.
1: two pieces of red fabrics measuring approximately 25 cm.
2: en una hoja trazamos el patrón de una bota.
2: on a sheet we trace the pattern of a boot.
3: y recortamos las telas.
3: and we cut the fabrics.
4: trabajaremos con la parte frontal de la bota. Hacemos un doblaje de 4 cm desde el borde hacia debajo. De la siguiente manera (ver foto).
4: we will work with the front part of the boot. We make a 4 cm fold from the edge down. As follows (see photo).
5: sobre el borde vamos a decorar con una tela blanca preferiblemente, en este caso seleccione un encaje blanco.
5: on the edge we are going to decorate with a white fabric preferably, in this case select a white lace.
6: colocaré el encaje en el borde superior de la bota y en la punta frontal de la bota.
6: I will place the lace on the top edge of the boot and on the front toe of the boot.
7: con los retazos de tela quise jugar un poco con los colores y texturas para dar un tono más viscoso con los que recortare las letras de “kiara”.
7: I wanted to play with the fabric scraps a bit with the colors and textures to give a more viscous tone with which I will cut out the letters of “kiara”.
8: Luego cocer las letras en la bota.
8: Then sew the letters on the boot.
9: con los materiales de bisutería decoré la bota dando un toque de brillo.
9: with the jewelery materials I decorated the boot giving a touch of shine.
10: y no podía faltar el destello dorado que irradia en navidad, le coloqué un lazo como un último detalle.
10: and I could not miss the golden sparkle that radiates at Christmas, I placed a bow as a last detail.
11: al finalizar de decorar la bota, sellar con aguja e hilo la parte trasera de la bota. Y tendremos lista nuestra bota navideña.
11: at the end of decorating the boot, seal the back of the boot with a needle and thread. And we will have our Christmas boot ready.
Es tradición en mi hogar colgar las botas de cada miembro familiar en la pared todos los años en época decembrina; ya que, en cada una se deja un pequeño obsequio, ya sea dulces o cartas de aliento para prepararnos con muchas más energías para el año nuevo.
It is a tradition in my home to hang the boots of each family member on the wall every year during the Christmas season; Since, in each one a small gift is left, either sweets or letters of encouragement to prepare us with much more energy for the new year.
Para la nueva integrante, mi bebé Kiara, hay un lugar muy especial en el rincón de las botas navideñas.
For the new member, my baby Kiara, there is a very special place in the Christmas boots corner.
