Today I am going to answer this interesting question.
What would you rather have your electricity or water cut off for a week?
For 2019 my country suffered a power outage that lasted between 5 and 7 days in several states, the largest in the history of Venezuela, I was able to live this experience and it was not pleasant, we had no way to communicate, to see the news, those who had no domestic gas and cooked with electric stoves had to use firewood, we had no water, we had to go to rivers or far away places to get it, when it rained in those days people used rain water for many things, the heat was fatal, food was damaged, many businesses lost their capital, sadly there were 4 blackouts in our country for that year 2019 that left us many memories of sadness and despair, but nevertheless we learned to value what we have, as a family, when we go out we turn off the lights and appliances that do not need to be connected.
With this experience I would rather have my water cut off, and not my electricity, for a week, but only for a week because really both are essential and water is life.

Para el 2019 mi país sufrió un apagón que duró entre 5 y 7 días en varios estados, el más grande en la historia de Venezuela, me tocó vivir esta experiencia y no fue nada agradable, no teníamos forma de comunicarnos, de ver las noticias, los que no tenían gas doméstico y cocinaban con cocinas eléctricas tenían que usar leña, no teníamos agua, teníamos que ir a los ríos o a lugares lejanos para conseguirla, cuando llovía en esos días la gente utilizaba el agua de lluvia para muchas cosas, el calor era fatal, los alimentos se dañaban, muchos negocios perdían su capital, lamentablemente hubo 4 apagones en nuestro país para ese año 2019 que nos dejaron muchos recuerdos de tristeza y desesperación, pero sin embargo aprendimos a valorar lo que tenemos, como familia, cuando salimos apagamos las luces y los aparatos que no necesitan estar conectados.
Con esta experiencia prefiero que me corten el agua y no la luz por una semana, pero solo por una semana porque realmente ambas son esenciales y el agua es vida.

Bueno, en mi opinión la verdad es que las dos son muy necesarias, no me imagino una semana sin agua la luz no me afectaba tanto, al decir verdad para mi la luz no era tan esencial ya que vivía en el campo, pero me di de cuenta que para los que viven en la ciudad es muy necesario la luz, ya que nos beneficia en muchas cosas, en fin las dos son esenciales para el ser humano.
