Welcome back to another full sports contact, today is Thursday which for many is a day of rest, but for others including me is a day to train at the same pace as always, is that for those who love physical training, there is nothing more pleasant than fulfilling our daily routines, in previous publications I have brought a variety of routines with which we can exploit different muscle groups, today I wanted to focus on the shoulders that are really very important in the balance of the body, because we do nothing to have great biceps or pectorals and poor shoulders, The shoulders and back are the muscles that make an athlete look strong and broad, and believe it or not women make them look elegant, drooping shoulders are not very aesthetic to say, a clarification that I must make for women, the fact that work the shoulders with good routines, does not mean that this area will be put like us men, for that to happen many things must happen or take into account many factors, since muscle development in women is very different from that presented by men. For this reason do not be shy my beautiful ladies to train this area, remember that the body is not only buttocks and legs, just as there are some gentlemen who only work the upper body and forget about the lower body, there are also women who forget about the upper part of the body. So the time has come to start with a publication.

Both women and men forget to work the shoulders or if they work them dedicate very little time, that is why today I have been motivated to bring you a very good routine that can be worked both by the ladies and by the horses, are easy to do exercises that can be performed either on machines or if you do not have that possibility can be done with dumbbells or bars with their respective discs, all that will depend on the availability that you have in the sports center where you train or gyms, and also the taste of each person, in my case I adapt to any situation, although I have always preferred the work with bars above the dumbbells, the shoulders should be worked from different angles, because it is divided into the front, the sides and the most complicated to develop as it is the back, this muscle can be worked once or twice a week, many times the work of the shoulders is combined with another muscle that is close as for example: trapezius or back, being a muscle of an intermediate size allows us to combine with other muscle groups, that exhaustion is much less than we live doing legs or chest, today's routine is supported is 5 good exercises that quietly can be worked in a period of 50 minutes or even less, so let's start with our good routine

To start our work of the shoulders, first of all we must do a good warm up, in my case I take about ten minutes to perform a good warm up stretching and then do another ten minutes of cardio and start with three sets of push-ups and three sets of parallel bars, so we leave the shoulders ready to work with weight, as this muscle group is very sensitive to injury, ie a bad movement with cold shoulders can cost us months without being able to train, and that would be very serious for those who like to train 5 days a week, the first exercise that we will perform here in the routine, would be the guaya to finish putting 100 percent of the shoulders to work with weights, here we focus on taking both guayas and pull and make tension to the back of the shoulders, this we must do in 4 sets of 15 repetitions each, with rest intervals of 50 seconds to 1 minute between sets, with their respective water intake to maintain hydration and thus the performance in the development of the routine.

The following exercise that in this case is number 2, is the so-called military press behind the neck, this movement can be performed with free bar or dumbbell, that will depend on the desire of each athlete, in the picture we illustrate it with machine, you can also see that the movement is with full extension and down to about 90 degrees, the military press is essential for the development of the deltoids of the shoulders, it is recommended to do this exercise very calmly and respecting each repetition, either in speed or intensity, it is recommended to do 4 sets of 15 repetitions with breaks between sets of 45 seconds or maximum 55 seconds, in each series we must try to reach muscle failure, thus stimulating a large amount of the muscle in question..

In the third exercise we will focus on the frontal work of the shoulders, here we continue with the same machine of the exercise number two, but with the exception that the angle was changed for the work we are looking for in this part of the routine, the grip in this movement should be closed and thus achieve the stimulus sought, here the weight should be less than that used in the work behind the neck, and try to make them very concentrated movements to create muscle tension in that area of the body, this time we will work doing 5 sets of 12 repetitions each set and resting 1 minute to hydrate and regain the necessary strength to continue focused on this good routine, if you consider that you can add weight and maintain the quality of the movements, then you can do it freely.

The fourth exercise is a work of concentration and good technique, you must be very careful when performing these movements, as it seeks to stimulate in a good way the muscle groups are part of the shoulders, this movement focuses 100% on the development of the middle part of the shoulders and is the area that can be distinguished mostly, for us men is nice to see that part developed, it gives us a lot of muscle symmetry, usually that area should go according to the trapezius muscles, the recommended series are 4 with 12 repetitions done slowly and without swinging, in the machine is very unlikely to be swinging, but if done with dumbbells is often incurred many times in that error, the maximum rest between series and series should be 1 minute, this to avoid losing the tension in part of muscle, leaving here we should still have strength to perform the last movement of this good but demanding routine shoulders

The fifth and last exercise is to finish exploiting the frontal zone of the deltoids, to do it we are going to support in the use of a disc whose weight can vary depending on the athlete, in my case I use a disc of 10 kilos and when I am with my greater potential I use the one of 15 kilos, the May stimulus we do it when slowly raising the disc to the height of the shoulders and later to make a turn to the right and then to the left, that is to say to move the disc as if you were grabbing a steering wheel of a car, the amount of repetitions can vary, I recommend that they are at least 10 repetitions well done, and all in this in 5 series, with rests of 1 minute, since at this point we should have the shoulders to the maximum, almost in explosion and reaching the desired muscle failure, I emphasize again, we can not, or rather we should abuse the rest between series to achieve that muscular hypertrophy desired by each of the athletes who perform the routine.

To finish with this publication of the iron shoulders routine, I can recommend you that before performing any routine of the desired muscle groups, we must first of all choose in a good way the exercises that we will include in that routine, for example if we see that the back of the shoulders have more faults than the front and the sides, well the ideal is to include more exercises of that area, we must also take into account the time we have available for the realization of the routine, The other thing I can recommend is to combine the shoulder exercises with two or three trapezius exercises to achieve even results in both muscle groups, which are so close to each other, do not leave aside the constant hydration during the exercises and the proper use of rest times, I hope this routine and tips will be very useful and see you in a next full sports contact.

Saludos.
