Revisando la actuación de algunos peloteros y sus números de por vida, nos hemos encontrado con varios nombres, todos ellos de grandes carreras en la MLB, el primero de ellos y quien podríamos decir que está más cerca de los 3 mil imparables, es el Dominicano Robinson Canó, este pelotero en la actualidad tienen 39 años de edad, lleva dos suspensiones por uso de sustancias prohibidas lo que estaría hoy en día jugando en su contra para alcanzar la tan anhelada cifra, Canó en la actualidad tiene 2,631 hits, en mi opinión este peletero tiene bastante chance de llegar si se mantiene sano y lejos de usar sustancias prohibidas, aunque está próximo a cumplir los 40 años es un pelotero de mucho contacto, con promedio de unos 125 hits por temporada en tres años podría llegar a la meta, el otro pelotero que pienso que si mantiene su nivel va a llegar a los tres mil imparables, es el nacido en Venezuela Jose Altuve, actualmente tiene 31 años y si mantiene números de al menos 150 indiscutibles por temporada en unos 8 años podría llegar y lo veo muy posible, ya que es uno de los mejores peloteros y bateador de las grandes ligas, en esta temporada lleva 1,783 hits, hasta ahora la lista va interesante y lo más vistoso, es que ambos son latinoamericanos.

Continuando con este análisis, seguimos con la lista, Manny Machado de 29 años y Mike Trout de 30 años son otros que aparecen con cierto chance, Machado es un pelotero de poder, pero no es de lo que batean muchos inatrapables, en la actualidad tiene 1,445 en su historial como bateador, mientras que Trout lleva 1,431 hits, a este pelotero en los últimos años lo ha afectado muchísimo las lesiones, para estas alturas Mike proyectaba unos 1800 imparables, en el caso de ambos peloteros no las tendrán tan fácil, tendrían que mejorar muchísimo en estos años que le quedan de peloteros activos, sobre todo Trout, pero en el béisbol todo es posible, siguen en esta lista de peloteros activos con más hits y que son candidatos a los 3000 estos jugadores: Elvis Andrus, en Venezolano tiene la edad de 33 años y hasta el momento lleva la cantidad de 1,875 hits y por su edad veo casi imposible que llegue a emular a su compatriota Miguel Cabrera, otro buen pelotero, pero también mayo es Eric Hosmer, quien cuenta con 32 años y hasta el momento está acumulando 1,648 imparables, el otro jugador que anda rondando estos números, es Nolan Arenado, quien pertenece a los Cardenales de San Luis, este pelotero tiene 30 años según los datos que da la página de la MLB, lleva hoy por hoy la cantidad de 1,377, y no creo que el y los dos peloteros anteriormente nombrados, puedan llegar a los 3 mil hits, si proyectan unos 2400 o 2500, edad y la cantidad de imparables que llevan no les dan muchas esperanzas de lograr la cifra redonda.
