The couch potato and trippy vibes
It is the weather to head to the beach this weekend. Heat alerts everywhere warning people to stay hydrated and take it easy this weekend. Weather to take long evening bbqs with friends and talk and drink into the night with some talks about life.
Nothing of all of that for me. I still have covid and feel max low on energy . Regardless of whatever rules there are going on at the moment, the offer from a friend to drive to the Dutch beaches and chill there...Just the idea of it already made me want to sleep again.

It has been a couple of days already and actually time has flown by. And what have I done in all of these days? Well, uhhh...mostly nothing I would say. Stare at the ceiling, play a bit of candy crush, watch a bit of 'real housewives of Beverly Hills' (ow yessss this is a ridiculous guilty pleasure which you should try if you don't want to get your brain fried), and sleep a lot.
My mom always used to say, 'when you get bored, you are not sick anymore', and when I told this to a friend on the phone in the week, he said: 'my mom took me to the doctor once because I didn't want to play on the playstation anymore, and then she got worried'.
Well I am surely not bored yet, but I don't know how to hang in the couch anymore from all of the hanging. I did get a lot of trippy vibes from the fever. There is this bush here in the region which is expanding rapidly. I started thinking about if this bush would have like an own way of thinking and a consious when it drops it's spores in the ground of for instance on my dog, and my dog walks away with the spores to lay them somewhere else.
Do you think that the plant high fives and thinks like 'yeaaaaah, we did good, we got em and now we steal some land there'. And if the spores have like little helmets on and a spear to defend their new land.
And that is when the hubby said: 'Lemme check your fever, I think you need to go back to bed because you are hallucinating'
Damn you, and I drope off like a puppy and went back to my couch... Goodbye sunny weekend.
