Concurso fotográfico FOTOCELF de Celfmagazine #07 "Plástico"

🇻🇪 Con estas imágenes participo en el concurso #Fotocelf de #CelfMagazine, en esta oportunidad con el tema "Plástico".

Hace poco leí que hicieron unos análisis del líquido amniótico de una mujer en estado y por primera vez encontraron células de micro plástico, el bebé ya las llevaba consigo antes de nacer. Eso me impactó.

Leí un poco acerca de la invensión del plástico y su impacto en ese momento en la vida cotidiana para poder construir una participación coherente en el concurso. Descubrí que al menos 10 personas se disputan ser el inventor, pero de todos ellos, me quedo con el belga Leo Baekeland, no porque creo que él sea el real inventor, según lo que leí todos tuvieron sus aportes; elijo a Baekeland por algo que escribió en su diario y definitivamente tenía toda la razón del mundo:

"A menos que esté muy equivocado, esta invención resultará importante en el futuro", 11 de julio de 1907.

Ciertamente cambió el mundo, y de una vez quiero dejar claro que no soy una detractora del plástico, me parece muy útil, usándolo de manera inteligente puede ser maravilloso, pero allí precisamente radica el problema, no lo estamos haciendo bien y hace tiempo ya se salió de nuestras manos, dicho literalmente, para ir a dar a lugares inhóspitos.

Hay tanto que decir y hacer sobre el tema, aplicar las 3 R: reducir, reutilizar, reciclar, entre muchas otras sugerencias ambientales y económicas que sin lugara dudas debemos escuchar y aplicar. Para este concurso las fotografías que elegí son precisamente un ejemplo claro de lo que se sale de control, de la forma menos inteligente que tenemos de usar plástico. El uso indiscriminado de este material para empaquetar frutas en los supermercados, solo para agruparlas, algunas veces se embolsan hasta tres veces para podertelas llevar a tu casa.
