these pictures were not taken recently, but the photographs taken in neustadt an der weinstraße have remained unpublished until now. a video, which can be found at the bottom of this page, documenting the creation of the painting, has already been shared in an older post. so far, they have lived a shadowy existence in one of the numerous folders together with countless other photographs.

diese bilder sind zwar nicht kürzlich entstanden, aber diese in neustadt an der weinstraße geschossenen photographien, blieben jedoch bisher unveröffentlicht. ein video, welches ganz unten noch einmal zu finden sein wird und die entstehung des wandbildes dokumentiert hatte ich in einem älteren post bereits geteilt. so fristeten sie bisher ein schattendasein in einem der zahlreichen ordner zusammen mit zahllosen weiteren aufnahmen.

the last evening of QuellWasserTransport 2021 part I was a balmy summer evening. and at the same time the end of a great and fascinating event. wonderful contacts to other artists were made here. there will probably be more to report about one acquaintance in a few weeks. but enough of anticipation.

der letzte abend des QuellWasserTransport 2021 teil I, war ein lauer sommerabend. und gleichzeitig das ende einer großartigen und faszinierenden veranstaltung. hier sind auch wunderbare kontakte zu anderen künstlern entstanden. über eine bekanntschaft wird es wohl in wenigen wochen mehr zu berichten geben. doch genug der vorwegnahme.

der letzte macht das licht aus (the last one turns off the lights) is a german saying. here, however, the lights are still on. but not for long. while the door to the exhibition rooms is still open in the first pictures, it is already closed in the last one. shortly afterwards, the lights are out, too.
the photographs beautifully reveal the different effects of coloured light. the reflection in the lower part of the last picture was created thanks to a table with a glass plate on which the camera was placed.
it is difficult for me to rate which of these photographs is the best. each one has its strengths but also its failings. in the hope of finding out more about this in your comment, i thank you for reading.

der letzte macht das licht aus so lautet ein deutsches sprichwort. hier brennt das licht jedoch noch. aber nicht mehr lange. ist auf den ersten bildern die tür zu den ausstellungsräumen noch geöffnet, ist diese auf dem letzten bereits verschlossen. kurz darauf sind dann auch die lichter aus.
die fotografien offenbaren sehr schön die unterschiedliche wirkung farbigen lichts. die spiegelung des letzten bildes entstand dank eines tisches mit einer glasplatte auf dem die kamera platziert war.

es fällt mir schwer zu bewerten, welche dieser fotografien die gelungenste ist. so hat jede stärken aber auch schwächen. in der hoffnung in den kommentaren diesbezüglich mehr zu erfahren bedanke ich mich für die aufmerksamkeit des lesers.
