Market Friday: searching for my old haunt by the river,

(Edited)

My life has been disrupted by the news about a friend suffering from vaccine injury. My heart was pounding as if I was in a car accident. Actually, I felt quite upset and the anxiety dominated my days. I did what I could by sending her all the relevant information on how to improve her situation. I have been doing a lot of research on herbal remedies for adverse effects of spike proteins and I have started taking some of these drugs and herbs to see the reactions of my body. So far, so good. I did feel much lighter and more alert which meant that I had picked up some shedding particles in the air of shopping mall. After hours of writing to my friend and doing extra research for more information on herbal remedy, I began to feel calmer. Had I not found anything at all, I would have felt very guilty and rotten. So, I have very good excuse for a late post once again.

This pandemic has pushed me into finding out more about our traditional herbal remedy. There are at least three very effective herbal medicine used by people in some provinces. So, I traveled to the old market by the river hoping to talk to old vendors or shopkeepers and traditional medicine practitioners. But the lockdown meant that all those shops were closed. I had to switch to exploring old temple and stray cats instead. But I could remember a very special Thai restaurant by the river at Maharacha Pier. I hadn’t been there many years. So, I began to search for this old pier.

img_2448.jpg

img_2442.jpg

The old pier used to have an old Thai restaurant built over eighty years ago. So it looked more like a big wooden house surrounded by several huge banyan and Bho trees with a big lawn for parking space. But the old restaurant with most trees were gone. The whole area had been transformed into a modern shopping arcade by the riverfront with Starbucks, small restaurants, cake shops and fashions shops.

img_2449.jpg

I found one of the old tree still standing inside this small shopping center. But most shops are closed, restaurants only offered take away meals. I couldn’t have a coffee by the riverside. So, I just observe the new shopping area with about five people walking around. The atmosphere was very weird for me, I did wonder why I didn’t feel at ease there. The river was very calm but melancholy. The two levels design was quite surprising as I thought the investors would have some high rise hotels or apartments to make more money. This place should have been crowded during high season as it takes only five minutes’ walk to the Grand Palace and visitors could take the express boats or river cruise in the evening.

img_2436.jpg

img_2450.jpg

I spotted the remaining old houses of the local community of people whose ancestors had been living on stilt houses on the riverbank three hundreds years ago. These people’s houses were protected by old law as they were there a long time ago. During high tide and big rush of water from the north, these shacks or old houses would be inundated with water. They would be flooded and suffer from big waves caused by big ships traveling at high speed. During such season, crossing the river in a small ferry could be very dicey and exciting.

img_2433.jpg

img_2434.jpg

The big contrast between the rich and the poor people’s houses reflected a widening gap of wealth in our society. Had the education system in our country been improved as some politicians had promised, these local people with Thai degrees would be able to get out of this poverty trap. Most companies would readily recruit people who had English university certificates! It seemed as if our social constructs had been designed to keep people passive and do not know how to think critically. This has always been on my mind for years and the education quality seemed to have deteriorated recently. I thought perhaps all the good teachers were retired or passed away!

img_2441.jpg

img_2440.jpg

There were a few handicraft shops around the corner. These were designers’ goods with nice design and pleasing colours. But these shops were also closed. The bicycles hanging on the wall seemed a bit strange to me. But the wall painting of a naughty dog was quite funny. I walked around the deserted shopping arcade wondering where the old lady who owned the Thai restaurant had gone. I had no way of finding out about her life but I guessed she would have passed away since she would have been over one hundred years old by then. Life is forever changing just like the flowing river. I could feel that time is pressing on too fast and there are so many unexpected things waiting to happen in the near future. Oh! Mother Nature and River Guardian! Please look after the country for me and send us some miracles to prevent the worse case scenario. I know I have to be meditative and free my mind to receive divine guidance.

I am so sorry for your friend. It's maddening that this crime has been perpetrated against humanity. Fortunately there are some people in the know like yourself. Hopefully the tiny pebbles of knowledge will cause a big ripple and we can heal our world again. We have a good number of people in Canada that are angry about the passports and concerned for their children. The problem are the majority that will blame us for the upcoming deaths and sickness that they will call variants.

Aside from work and groceries, I don't go to close to people. I never really liked crowds anyway. At work we are mostly alone in the kitchen but we know the others are jabbed. We have no choice but to visit Marc's elderly parents once a week. They are quite proud of their vaccinations and his father laughs loudly at my rants about the graphene oxide and spiked proteins in the jab. They have severe health problems and no one but us to see them. No one is allowed in our apartment and we never visit anyone else. I fear for the economy as well.

The photo of that pier made my heart beat hard. I realized that was the pier where a friend and myself grabbed a boat in around 1994. I remember marveling as we went down the river to see the old shacks among the modern buildings. It was quite the culture shock for me as it was the first time since I was four that I had seen Bangkok.

Sending good wishes your way.

Thanks so much for your sympathy and understanding. My friend has responded quite positively to my recommendations. Luckily we have so many kinds of herbs in local markets and in her garden. I had done my best for her and she was relieved to know why all the symptoms after the vaccination. Even the doctor at hospital did not have any clue. Now she wouldn’t go for useless invasive surgery. She seems to regain hope and become more lively knowing what she could do for her healing the body,

I think the food you eat has been giving you the boost to your immune system. According to several studies, people with high level of Vitamin D3 never got infected by the coronavirus. (the level of above 40 in blood tests). But winter will be hard on the D3 stock in the body. The combo of D3, zinc and C is essential to maintain a defense against the infection. Vegetarian food makes your body more alkaline which is good for getting rid of the spike proteins.

I think there’ll be uprising around the world against tyrannical governments.

Take care.

Really a big contrast between the rich and poor houses 🤨 .. inequality must be super huge I this country .. but its nice to see how they tried to conserve the tree within the house structures

Yup! There will always be a gap between the rich and the poor. Luckily we have many charities and safety valves! But more people are losing their jobs! So there’ll be serious problems in the long run!

I am so very sorry about your friend! I still cannot believe that so many people eschew the knowledge that is available to them, opting for the injection instead. I don't mind so much, it is their choice, but, I would feel better if people had an informed choice. There was no information and everyone blindly stood in line, fighting to be first, without any knowledge of what the effects may be.

What will it take to get back on track once again? Will we ever be? Will we ever feel the safety that we once felt?

I see the pier and the old shacks. I can remember a line of them perhaps in a different section. People living the best way they can. A little city of its own. It is so comforting to see people that are happy to live among each other, like family. The education problem you are talking about is nothing short of criminal. Promises broken. This was, indeed a very poignant and thoughtful #MarketFriday @kaminchan I don't care that you sometimes put it in late, I am sad when I miss it and am always grateful to hear your words. You and your thoughts are very inspirational. Love to you. Be safe, always.

I love the concept of #MarketFriday and how our cultures differ and then again, how much they are alike. Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages. Along with the fact of what is normal for where you live? these are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I had hoped that posting here will familiarize you with the world around you just a little bit more. Viewing it from a more personal level as opposed to the newsworthy level gives me a better understanding of the people and a view that is often not seen on National television.

I appreciate the amazing support given to #MarketFriday! Thank you! Your participation adds a piece of your world, and I have to say, people are interested in seeing it. This entire challenge has opened up the world to me and so many others. Thank you again for being a part of all this! I am so happy to see you here! I hope you have a fabulous day! Hive on!!

Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:

I put these here for guidance, it doesn't mean you have done anything wrong in your post, but, for someone wanting to know what it is all about, here it is! If you have any questions, contact me in discord dswigle3637 or tag me. If you need help with anything, also feel free to contact me.

Rules of the Road

  1. Go to the market, or anywhere that you pay money for a service.
    Take pictures! Be creative!
  2. Tell us a little bit about the market or the event. What brought you there? What did you buy? How much did it cost?
  3. Post the picture(s) Of course, you should tell a little bit about the ones you post
  4. Use the MarketFriday Community Platform to post #hive-196308 (this is not required, but appreciated)
  5. Drop the link into the MarketFriday comment section so I can find it
  6. Following me and reblogging the post so more see it would be appreciated !! Not a rule, just appreciated, more vision for more views on your posts!
  7. You must put #MarketFriday by @dswigle somewhere on your post. If you don't and someone reads it, there is nothing to tie #MarketFriday to that post.
  8. Please only one post each week. Believe it not, I run out of voting power if you put in many more than that.
  9. Please use good taste in what you post. If you are going to buy liquor and go on a bender, I am pretty sure that nobody wants to hear about it. Regarding the posts, I would like to hear about the post a little. Here is my market and 20 pictures, many of them blurry? I would rather see a few pictures that I can see what it is. This is not a criticism, this is to help you become a better poster. Better posts equal better payouts.

As always, please remember! #MarketFriday loves you!

Thank you so much for your kind words and consideration. She did follow my instructions for detoxing and I was amazed by her recovery. But the damage to some part of the brain has been done. The important thing is to reduce further blood clots inside the blood vessels. Hopefully she could get all the essential supplements for detoxing graphene oxide and spike proteins as soon as possible.

Hope things will somehow get better soon.
But people will have to rise up and fight for their rights and liberty soon!

Take care.
