Happy Caturday:walking exercise with orange cats.

This afternoon my gardener told me that it’s Sunday already! I thought it was Saturday so I was talking about what we should do on Sunday. Therefore, my time has been stolen from me again during the night. I often got up with confusing feelings about time and the exact day of the week. It could be that I did too much astral traveling during my sleep so when I got up I had already spent my time in advance!

Last night the aggressive stray white stray cat came to our house and tried to attack Joan on the landing in front of the door. The sound of cats’ quarrel was very loud and piercing with urgency. That sudden yelling sound woke me up with the certainty that my cats were in danger. I switched on the lamp and yelled at the aggressor to frighten him away immediately. By the time I opened the door, that aggressive cat was gone but I still scolded after him. Joan had his back in the corner of between two walls. I wondered if he could handle that crazy white cat. Kwan was sitting frozen on the narrow railing of the staircase. I m brought her down and put her in my sitting room. Both cats stayed inside during the rest of the night for safety. My deep sleep was broken but luckily I could get back to sleep easily.

I woke up a bit late feeling as if I had been out the whole night in an errand or secret meeting somewhere in parallel universe. I wondered why orange cats refused to sleep inside the house earlier on. I did notice they liked to get into the fields in the dark. I was afraid they were becoming like wild cats again and that they would disappear like their aunty, Rosy. Some innate instincts seemed to compel them to walk about in the dark and sat quietly for hours on the wall by the gate. They liked to quietly spy on stray dogs passing by the house at night.

This afternoon I persuaded my orange cats to go for walking exercise with me in the nearby fields. They were putting on weights and I found Joan was getting really heavy like a medium size dog! They both sat still and didn’t walk after me any more. They were getting lazy and fat. I had to carry each cat all the way to a nice open area in the fields. Then orange cats would start walking around slowly. They were not running around much any more. Joan was rather slow in exploring the fields whereas Kwan was more alert and excited.

Joan, the bigger brother tried to find a safety spot for his rest! Gosh! He’s only five years old! And he was acting like a middle age human being. So, Joan wasn’t walking around much at all. On the other hand, Kwan was exploring the fields and ventured outside the fence into the dirt road. I had to warn her about three stray dogs who often went along the dirt road. Kwan was always very inquisitive and daring.

I left them enjoying themselves in the fields for about an hour, hoping that they would go back to the house afterwards. I did some gardening work and decided to do some cycling along the river. The sky was heavy with dark grey clouds and the sun almost went to bed. I did manage to do cycling exercise for about half an hour. I got back to the house hoping that orange cats would be waiting for me in the front yard. To my dismay, orange cats were still having a good time somewhere in the fields. So, I had to search for them and get them back home before the sky became completely dark.

To my surprise, I found my orange cats sitting together on the grass said they just had a nice picnic in the park. They looked so care free and contented just sitting there observing nature around them. But I had to pick Kwan up and carry her to the house hoping that Joan would be running after us. Joan was so happy with his testing spot that he wouldn’t make a move at all. I had to pick up Joan and carried him back to the house. Both cats were quite reluctant to accept the ending of their adventure time in the fields.

They are cute animals, but they also love to fight. 😁😁 You may have to be smart to look after your cat, so it doesn't get seriously injured.🥰🥰

I have always remind my cats to hide well and to run fast or climb on trees very fast in time of troubles. They don’t know how to fight!

I also have cats, and tell them to be able to fight, to be able to defend themselves.
