The process of "handmade" is sometimes truly mind blowing, no? I totally LOVE the rich tones the fire leaves on the terracotta - as it it has been buried for centuries. Lovely post.

Wow, what awesome work @kalemandra , I'm married to a sculptor so I know what hard work goes into it. People just don't understand the value of art work like this, my husband Peter has some of his work in galleries around south africa. I also use to do pottery so I appreciate those items your friend makes, lovely interesting post, enjoyed it very much. Thanks for sharing, live to see more.

To be an artist or master of any craft is not easy but beautiful. It is more of a mission than of making money. I also do handicrafts and don’t make a lot of money, but I wouldn’t change it for anything else.

Absolutely agree @kalemandra the money would be nice, but the feeling of accomplishment when finishing a piece and someone appreciates it, is worth more than money. one artist to another, stay well and continue to create.

WOW I love all these works! I love their workshop, too. Especially the grinder that is run on a pedal. This is so cool, thank you for sharing it with us! :D

Do they sell their works online?
