Warpas (Pasta Shop), A Pasta Restaurant That Always Manages To Temper My Emotions.

Actually, I had intended to write this a few weeks ago, but the universe inside of me didn't seem to want it. They--my universe--even busy making explosions in my head that undermined my passion for writing. But now that I think about it, some beautiful things in this world are created from explosions and shocks, right? I hope that beautiful things will come into my life soon. That's the prologue for my post this time. Next I will discuss about the place that used to heal my heart when I was not feeling well.

The place is a pasta restaurant called Warpas, which stands for Pasta Shop. I used to have lunch at that restaurant with my girlfriend when we wanted to go on a date outside, in the Depok area, to be precise in the Margonda area. The area is strategically located for us to meet, because my girfriend lives in Bogor and I live in South Tangerang. Oh, it's actually more accurate because our first meeting was in the Depok area, so we're used to meeting there until now. Lol

For some reason Warpas restaurant always manages to make me feel comfortable to linger there. In fact, if you know, the Margonda Depok area during the day when it's not raining is quite hot. Looks like you can cook eggs well on the tarmac of Margonda highway at 1 pm. But when I was at the Warpas restaurant it felt cool even though I was in a room without air conditioning. The restaurant has been renovated several times. When I first visited, there were some pretty shady trees in front of the restaurant. Maybe that's one of the reasons the air in the restaurant is so cool. The last time I was there, the trees had decreased but the coolness was still the same. Strangely, whenever I feel unwell and feel like I'm about to explode, that place always manages to suppress the negative emotions inside of me. I always sit in the same place every time I go there. Until now I have not found the reason why I always sit in that place every time I visit Warpas.

In addition to a comfortable place, the food there is also very good. Yes, this is actually the reason I posted it here, because I will also discuss the food I ordered at the Warpas restaurant. Usually I order Mushroom Chunk with Iced Lychee Tea, but the last time I went there, I ordered a different dish. I ordered Chucky Flucky plus Champignon mushroom topping with a choice of Fettuccine pasta. This dish is pasta stir-fried with olive oil, chunk tuna, cayenne pepper, and lime leaves. Because I really like mushrooms, so I added a topping of Champignon mushrooms. It tastes amazing in the mouth. Maybe for those of you who don't like fish, this dish will be less suitable. Even though there are lime leaves, the fishy smell is still quite pronounced. But for me who has no problem with the smell of tuna, this dish was perfect. Italian dishes with Asian flavours.

My lover, as usual ordered Meat Lover plus meatball topping and smoked chicken with spaghetti pasta. This dish is pretty good too, it can treat your sadness when you fail to cook spaghetti with bolognese sauce. Lol

We used to linger at the Warpas restaurant. Usually we order drinks more than once. The appetizer I ordered as usual, Iced Lychee Tea. Nothing beats its freshness. I really like the taste of Lychee fruit which I think is unique, it tastes like life, there is sweet, sour, and astringent.

Then I ordered a second drink Lychee Lime. It's refreshing too, but not as delicious as Iced Lychee Tea. Lychee Lime tastes like a mix of sprites plus a slice of lemon and mint leaves. The taste of Lychee fruit is barely felt in my mouth because lemon and mint leaves are more dominant

My lover ordered Iced Mint Tea as an appetizer, then he ordered Strawberry Squash in the second glass which tasted very dominant with fresh strawberry sourness.

After finishing eating the dishes at Warpas my mood must have recovered in a way I didn't understand myself. Maybe that place has a frequency wave that can trigger the positive energy in me to wake up again and put to sleep the negative energy that was previously feasting inside me.
