Greetings my creative people! A hug to all, I hope you are having a good time. For a long time I wanted to make a fan art of this iconic character from the Spanish TV series "La casa de papel" as the professor is, an analyst and detail-oriented character, a true chess player in his strategies in this series, since I saw the first season where the plot revolved around the Spanish mint and was linked to this series. In one of the chapters I saw that the professor dressed up as a beggar, which gave me the idea for this fant art to dress him as an astronaut, and why not! How would it look? Here is where I found today's challenge, the professor dressed as an astronaut and in chibi style. I have made this digital art with Illustrator, one of my favorite vector drawing programs!

¡Saludos mi gente creativa! Un abrazo a todos, Espero que la estén pasando bien. Esde hace tiempo quería hacer un fan art de este personaje icónico de la serie española de TV “La casa de papel” como lo es el profesor, un personaje analista y detallista, un verdadero jugador del ajedres en sus estrategias en esta serie, desde que vi la primera temporada donde la trama giraba alrededor de la casa de moneda de España quede ligado a esta serie. En uno de los capítulos vi que el profesor se disfrazó de mendigo, lo que me dio la idea para este fant art de vestirlo de astronauta, y porque no! Como se vería? Aquí les donde encontré el reto de hoy, el profesor vestido de astronauta y en el estilo chibi. Este arte digital lo he realizado con Illustrator, uno de mis programas de dibujo vectorial favorito!
PASO A PASO/ STEP TO STEP
Paso 1 (Boceto y Line arte) / Step 1 (Sketch and Line art)
Antes de empezar el delineado, trace el boceto con proporciones chibi de manera rápida con la herramienta pincel. Para dibujar el traje y el casco y el traje me inspire en los trajes espaciales de los personajes de la película de Armagedón, al finalizar les dejo la referencia.
Before you start outlining, draw the sketch with chibi proportions quickly with the brush tool. To draw the suit and the helmet and the suit I was inspired by the space suits of the characters from the Armageddon movie, at the end I leave you the reference.
Hice primeramente el delineado del casco y de la cabeza y luego el cuerpo con el traje y para finalizar el line art dibuje los ojos, cejas, gafas, nariz y boca.
First I outlined the helmet and the head and then the body with the suit and to finish the line art I drew the eyes, eyebrows, glasses, nose and mouth.
Paso 2 (Color) / Step 2 (Colour)
Empecé por colorear el traje y luego la cabeza, cabello y el casco.
I started by coloring the suit and then the head, hair and helmet.
Luego empecé a colorear las zonas de sombras en el traje y las botas; así como en el casco, cara y cabello. Después coloree zonas de claridad y luces.
Then I started coloring the shadow areas on the suit and boots; as well as on the helmet, face and hair. Then color areas of clarity and lights.
Arte Final/ Final Art
Para finalizar dibuje un fondo de color azul y otro con degradados. Espero que les guste.
To finish, draw a blue background and another with gradients. Hope you like.
