Marley y yo tuvo estreno en el año 2008 y pueden encontrarla en la plataforma digital de Netflix. Fue dirigida por David Frankel y protagonizada por Owen Wilson y Jennifer Aniston. Esta es una película romántica, con un poco de comedia pero que sin duda despierta una nostalgia increíble en quien la ve. Fue hecha basada en una novela autobiográfica de un periodista llamado John Grogan, la cual tiene el mismo titulo "Marley & Me" publicado en 2005. Donde cuenta lo que vemos en el film, su vida con Marley, su Labrador con quien compartió 13 años de su vida.

Marley y yo nos cuenta la historia de John y Jenny Grogan, quienes son una pareja de recién casados, que están listos para iniciar su nueva vida, pero al no estar completamente seguros de añadir un nuevo miembro a la familia, John con ayuda de su mejor amigo Sebastian, decide regalarle un perro a Jenny. Marley, un pequeño y tierno labrador que los convence por permanecer lejos del grupo y estar siempre durmiendo, rápidamente pasa a ser un gigantesco pero aun tierno, labrador muy ruidoso y nervioso, que les cambiara la vida por completo. Luego de muchas vivencias y años tratando de educar a Marley, deciden aceptar la personalidad de su pequeño. A medida que la familia va creciendo, sus hijos comienzan a crear un vinculo con Marley muy especial, el cual luego de una enfermedad que presenta Marley en su estomago, dejara a todos con el corazón roto, al descubrir que deben despedir a su mejor amigo.

Sin duda esta película es hermosa y maravillosa, la recomiendo totalmente, la he visto miles de veces y siempre toca mi corazón y me hace llorar hasta buscar a mis cachorros y abrazarlos muy fuerte. Marley y yo, nos enseña lo valioso de estos pequeños a 4 patas y de lo inmenso que es un corazón y amor para con nosotros, ellos nos entregan todo a cambio de nada, nos dan una increíble lección de vida, y es que una vez escuche algo sobre que los cachorros viven menos que las personas porque ellos ya nacen sabiendo amar, y sin duda, hay muchas virtudes maravillosas que debemos aprender de ellos.
Without a doubt this movie is beautiful and wonderful, I totally recommend it, I have seen it thousands of times and it always touches my heart and makes me cry until I look for my puppies and hug them very tight. Marley and I, teaches us how valuable these little ones are on 4 legs and how immense a heart and love is for us, they give us everything in exchange for nothing, they give us an incredible life lesson, and that is that once I heard something about puppies living less than people because they are already born knowing how to love, and without a doubt, there are many wonderful virtues that we should learn from them.
