Inconvenience Can Sometimes Be Chosen | ZAPFIC MONDAY #54 | (11/7/22) - Prompt: comfortable
It's time for the ZAPFIC Monday challenge for Week #54. The prompt this week "comfortable" presented the opportunity to explore the narrative that individuals make choices sometimes based on perceived convenience. It doesn't always turn out that way.
My story is below:
Elbows targeting Agnes' wide-brimmed plumage scored several goals as the hat landed in her lap.
Quick to blame those near, her head jerked upward.
An inner voice warned against speaking.
She sat fuming at her initial unwise choice of a seat.
I leave here the screenshot evidencing the 240-character limit for my story for Week #54:
If you'd like to participate, here's the official post: It's Monday! So it's time for #ZapFicMonday! Write me a story in 240 characters or less!
Post to the Freewriters Community.
Please use a word/character counter (if you search for word counter on the internet or in your phone's app store you will get a big choice!) wordcounter.net and include a screenshot. This makes it easier for you and @feltbuzz!
Use the prompt provided as you see fit (use your imagination)
You have 3 days (until Thursday 23h59 GMT) to post a Zapfic (a story written in 240 characters or less) using the prompt given.
Try to tell a complete story if you can!
The story should only be 240 characters long (including spaces)
Happy rest of the week everyone with whatever your endeavors.
