Daydreaming | LET'S MAKE A COLLAGE: ROUND #101
Hello everyone. Hope you had a great holiday for those who celebrate. Welcome back to Let's Make a Collage ("LMAC"). We're now on the other side of the 100th episode of creating collages in the Community. It's been an awesome undertaking to participate in nearly all the contest rounds. I have thoroughly enjoyed it.
This week for my participation, I wanted to explore the whimsical side of work and play. Every dreams of having the perfect job that's enjoyable. In reaching that destination, there's no harm in dreaming what you'd like to have or accomplish along the way.
I was inspired to create two collages for my daydreaming theme. To create the settings for both, I started with the photograph provided by @shaka in his contest post.

COLLAGE #1
The background image for my first collage was inspiration from another LMAC member, @angeli-b, who contributed this scene near the beach where anyone would want to visit. It was a good fit for my theme of the perfect get-a-way vacation.
To create the collage, I uploaded the contest photo and the background image into Canva to perform photo editing functions with my Annual Pro Membership Subscription.
The contest photo, together with the images below created a nice contrast.

COLLAGE #2:
In my second collage, I wanted to depict an impossible dream by someone just wanting to feel higher than he could have ever imagined. I decided to include a daring young man who would hang over the city. His hammock is tied to each ends of the castle tops. He's also hanging over a rocky stream with swift-moving rapids. Looks a bit dangerous. A passerby stopped to take a photo. He knew otherwise no one would believe him.
For this theme, I chose to utilize sections of the contest photo in different places on the image.
For the background image I opted for an overview of a city. In the photo appears a steampunk balloon.

Hello @agmoore. Thanks for taking the time to view my collage. I appreciate your kind words. I was happy with my final output and took a nap with no worries.
Three hours later I wake to respond to comments, and see that I left off @eve66 as a beneficiary for the image of her cat. Talk about turning your happy face around in an instant. I added the cat at the last moment to give the maid one more chore to do!
I left a message for @eve66 on the official contest post about my omission. Let me head on over to my wallet and round up lots of extras to sent her. She's such a nice person that I hope I can continue in her good graces after today! :(

Hello @starstrings01. How have you been? Are you done with school yet? Thanks so much for stopping by and viewing my collage. Yes, LMAC reached 100 last week. It has grown and prospered with its own library of images contributed by the members.

I am two years away from finishing school 😅😂. Truth is, I am tired of school but what can I do. I was brought up to believe that Education is the way to success.
After school, I am sure that I would have more time for Hive and to engage most especially.
Yes, education is most likely the way to success unless you have athletic abilities to enter professional sports or some type of entertainer. It all depends on what you want to do with your life and whether education can help you reach that goal. I know numerous friends and others who didn't obtain a college education. They are successful in life doing what they feel is right for them. What defines success? It means different things to different people. You are the only one that can define what success means to you; then start down that path.
I wish you all the best. I've known you to be a determined young adult and do well with what you set out to accomplish. It just won't happen overnight..unless you win the lottery. Then remember your Hive friends!
